I’ve just read this on a friends page, sitting here the tears flowing for all those I’ve lost. Sometime, someplace we will be together again ❤️
A letter from your pet in heaven
To you, my dearest family, some things I'd like to say.... And first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay. I'm writing this beneath the Bridge. I dwell with God above. A place with no more tears of sadness - just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight. I'm with you every morning, every noon and every night. That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again, I missed you while you're gone. As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on." God gave a list of things to me he wanted me to do. And first and foremost on that list: to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night the day's chores put to flight, God and I are close to you ... in the middle of the night. When you think about my life on earth, and all those loving years, because you're only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry: it does relieve the pain. There never would be flowers, if it doesn't sometimes rain. I wish that I could tell you all the things that God has planned. But if I were to tell you now, you wouldn't understand.
One thing though is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er. I'm closer to you now, than I have ever been before. There are rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb; But together we can do it, just a little at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too; That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you. If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and in pain; Then you can say to God at night ... "My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented ... that my life has been worthwhile. Knowing as I passed along I made somebody smile. God says: "If you meet someone who is sad and feeling low; Just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go."
When you are walking down the street just keep me on your mind; I'm walking in your footsteps just a little bit behind. And when it's time for you to go ... it's your time to be free Remember you will not be lost ... you're coming here to me.

In loving memory of spike.
Spike, Quite a ugly young one, To the uncontrollable food drive,... And squinty right eye, Lets not forget the painted toes and concord nose, But brilliant short attack, To being a safe bet, First always in the van, Going everywhere, Barking your head off on the beach, To scaring the juju out of waywards, Then maturing to a gent, Quite a handsome one, To my big dog, who did everything I asked, was my friend, and best bed bud! Thank you big dog, it was a awesome 11 years!

Thank you my wee Georgia for the precious 19 years you have given me. During that time, we made some wonderful memories together which I will treasure until I take my last breath. Life is never going to be the same without you....my heart is aching. Love you always, my wee pet xxx 💔

May you travel in the car To the places near and far May you run and walk free Or just sniff at every tree May you play on the ground ... Or just lie and make no sound May you sleep at someone's feet Until again we finally meet.

Reading through comments and messages from everyone who has lost. Losing is the most difficult part of loving but we are blessed to be able to say farewell, it means we have had the joy of sharing our lives. I’m blessed every single day both with my animals who are still with me and with the wonderful memories that the ones who have left have given me. Sometimes I laugh and quite often I cry but I wouldn’t of changed a moment of my journey with them. Other than it wasn’t long enough. Sending hugs to all of you xx

We sadly lost our 8 year ago house rabbit Alfie. We wanted to cremate him but the vet charges were more than we could afford but thank goodness after research we found Karen & Ian! They’re the kindest people I’ve met who treated Alfie with such dignity & have given us the chance to keep him at home where he belongs. Thank you so much for everything. You both come highly recommend...Alfie’s family xxx

We have been to Pets Farewell three times now with two guinea pigs (Ilya and Copernicus) and my beloved family dog, Lucki. Karen has showed us tremendous empathy and kindness every time and I can't thank her enough for making such a difficult time that little more bearable. I felt very comfortable leaving my animals in her care knowing that they would be treated with absolute respect. Karen is so patient when explaining all your options and will happily talk you through everything. The little Farewell room is a beautiful little place to say your final goodbyes to your pet and we were never rushed. The little urns and photo boxes we have gotten are all great quality and are perfect little mementos of our pets. I wouldn't dream of taking a pet anywhere else when the time comes. A place of true compassion, I couldn't recommend Pets Farewell enough. They are wonderful people.

Sadly I had to say a final goodbye to my beautiful previous Cavalier King Charles Kara last Friday. I would like to say a sincere 'thank you' to Karen for her kindness, understanding and compassion during this very upsetting and emotional time.

Karen's compassion for animals shines through and she knew exactly the pain and heartbreak I was going through at the loss of my beautiful Kara. Karen gave me all the time I needed to say my very last goodbye to Kara in the peaceful Farewell Room.

As I left Pets Farewell I took some comfort knowing that I had entrusted my precious Kara to the loving care of Karen until I was reunited with Kara the following day.

Karen - thank you for caring and looking after Kara. It meant a lot to me x

My beautiful girl Lucy closed her beautiful eyes 12th November 2016. Not knowing much about cremation for pets my vet told me about pets farewell I was absolutely amazed by how beautiful her remains were returned home to us she takes pride of place on my sitting room shelf so I can see her and talk to her every day

User

Many thanks to Karen and Ian. Losing my beautiful 16 year old senior citizen is heart breaking and I was not ready for it to happen but I knew that when the time came, I wanted her cremated. I rang up very upset about her body still being at the vets and unsure why, but was put at ease by Karen who assured me Ian was collecting her that evening and allowed me to collect her ashes on the Sunday. She also offered me the chance to get her paw print done on her name card which I did not know I could have done. They took such care of my wee woman and returned her to me in a beautiful scatter tube and with her tiny paw print on her card. I can't thank you enough, my heart is broken but my mind is at peace now that my sweet angel is home.

Karen is very kind and compassionate and made the cremation process a lot easier during such a tough time. The farewell room is beautiful, I was given time to privately say goodbye to my little shih tzu Izzy. She passed on Saturday 17th, we brought her down on Sunday and I had her ashes, fur clipping and paw print back with me on the Monday so it was all done very quick. Thank you for all of your patience and helping my Izzy, you showed her so much respect. The world needs more people like you. Xx

You made a heartbreaking day a million times more bearable, and took all the hard decisions and stress away. After one phonecall to you I felt the weight of the world lift from my shoulders. You treated Sam with the kindness, respect and dignity he deserved, and the empathy and compassion shown to us made me sure I was making the right decision in leaving him in your capable hands. You went above and beyond, and your kindness was so appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts

I cannot thank Karen enough for all she did for me on Wednesday 21st March. Sadly I had my beautiful 14 year old cat Molly put to sleep & had made arrangements to have her cremated on Wednesday. I cried all the way & then got lost, I rang Karen to say I wasn’t ready to let Molly go, she was so understanding & sympathetic & told me come when I was ready. When I did arrive, I was treated to a hug & respect. The farewell room is tranquil & I got to spent time saying goodbye to Molly. I brought my big Spike for a check up, but had a notion it was time, and we had to send him over rainbow bridge. To say I was distraught was a understatement. My vet, Brian Jones, Acnu practice, Dundalk, took care of everything - absolute legends! I received the loveliest box and card with his name on top today. I really thought he'd just be in a box-i couldn't make any arrangements at the time. Thank you so much, you've made it a bit easier.
