Today ended my 2 day course in Birmingham to learn phlebotomy...Well what a weekend it’s been!! A massive heartfelt thanks to the lovely and quite frankly amazing team made up of Jo and Jane, This weekend has has been amazing!!.Iv learnt more than I thought possible in a weekend and its sunk in without a problem because our tutors were brilliant!! Patient,helpful and so informative everything came with ease they also helped to put everyone at ease by they’re warm personalities and can do attitude, we’ve had a fantastic group and I can honestly say this has been the best training Iv ever done!!

Thank you to Phlebotomy training Service and your fantastic tutors I am now excited to start my new chapter. Can’t wait to book on for the next one � x

This was an excellent course. Well planned,explained and executed. I was never bored. There was no shortage of equipment or limits on attempts. I learnt new skills and was handled in a caring and friendly manner. As a tactile learner it was important not to feel rushed or pressured whilst learning. This never happened. You could feel the enthusiasm and dedication for the love phlebotomy and patient care. I would have no hesitation in recommending or booking PTS. Thank you for teaching me well.

Just got back from a two day phlebotomy training in Sheffield with Emily it was great I have learnt so much Emily was very patient and so informative I would definitely recommend this Course to anyone, the group of people I was with were so lovely it’s been a pleasure xx

Just finished the 2 day course in Edinburgh. It was excellent! Emily was a great tutor and helped us all so much in gaining some confidence. Met some really lovely, interesting people and really enjoyed the two days. Worth missing the sunshine for a few hours!

Just finished my 2 day course on phlebotomy and I thought every bit was brilliant. I went on the Stoke one and I’m so glad I did. The theory work was easy to understand but thorough and also laid out really well. I thought Jo did a brilliant job in putting it to the class and reassuring us that no question would go unanswered. With a tutor like Jo you can’t really ask for any better. The second day we were joined by Jane to help Jo show us and teach us the practical side. I also felt really comfortable with Jane which, when you haven’t done anything like this before was a massive help. Both Jo and Jane are brilliant at their jobs and I’m so glad I took the time to book on and do the two day course.

If anyone was wondering whether or not to do the course I’d tell them to go for it every single time.

I’ve just attended a one day phlebotomy course led by Alison and Andrew. Both were extremely professional, friendly, interesting and above all knowledgable in the field of Phlebotomy. The time flew by and unusually for a training course I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed it. They made sure every aspect of the topic was covered and that all of us were confident in the technique by the time the course was finished. Nothing was too much trouble and they were happy for us to take as much time as we needed to practice while giving tips and advice. Now all I can hope for is that when I put it into practice I do the training justice!

This course has been one of the best courses I have attended and would recommend it to everyone. Everyone on the course was a bit nervous, but Emily had a teaching style that brought practical and theory together in a very enjoyable way.

I did the advanced course on 30th June, I recently had a patient who told me she hates blood tests because she usually 'gets stabbed several times', I used a butterfly on her and easily got her blood sample first time, she said it was the nicest blood test she had ever had!� thanks to Alison and team for my first course 5 years ago and the advanced course recently, fabulous courses, highly recommend them

I attended the phlebotomy course the weekend just gone at the holiday inn in Birmingham the first day I was so nervous but the other students and tutor was so caring and helped put me at ease straight away... I found this 2 day course extremely fun and our tutor jo was amazing... I’m so happy I got to do this course aswel as met some fab people whilst doing so... I would defo recommend this to anyone wants to pursue a career in phlobotomy

I attended the 2 day Level 3 Phlebotomy Skills course at The Holiday Inn in Birmingham this weekend. From the outset we were put at ease and made to feel very comfortable under Jo's guidance & instruction. Jo's background as a qualified nurse and the fact that she still takes patient's bloods in a surgery, instilled confidence and trust in the group and I feel able to contact her in the future for help or advice.

Although there is alot to take in over the 2 days, the course is delivered in bite sized chunks that are easily understandable and the opportunity to practise as many times as we needed is quite unique compared to other training courses that I have attended.

I'm looking forward to starting my new job at a GP surgery in Redditch as a HCA taking patient's bloods on a regular basis. Thanks PTS for the giving me the required skills & knowledge!!

I attended a two day course this weekend with Emily as our tutor. I have recently been made redundant and wanted to start a new career. The attendees were from all different backgrounds but Emily was able to communicate the best practices to us all. I now feel confident in all aspects of Phlebotomy thank you Emily. I attended a two day basic phlebotomy course this weekend taught by a fantastic tutor called Emily.



I have no background in healthcare whatsoever and barely passed my science exams in school so was really anxious about this course, however being a receptionist in a GP surgery I have wanted to take the step to become a phlebotomist for a while.



I would just like to say anybody thinking of booking this course do it, excellent value for money and taught so professionally.



Emily clearly had brilliant knowledge of phlebotomy and taught it with so much ease. Everybody on my course was a range of ages and from different career backgrounds and Emily continuously related it back throughout the two days to what we said we wanted to do after we completed the course - amazing teacher skills.

I attended a phlebotomy course in Dublin with Sarah and Alison. Both ladies are fantastic. They have a real passion for teaching which makes the training even more interesting. They are very experienced, professional,friendly, and help make everyone feel at ease.There was alot of theory and practical...we covered so much and everything was explained fully and by the end of the course you walk away feeling very confident. I really enjoyed this training and looking forward to attending more classes in the future. Thank you so much Sarah and Alison! :)

Having spent a weekend in Birmingham with Jolly Jo and Lady Jane, I have returned to complete my home learning after completing a fabulous phlebotomy course.



The course was beyond my expectations; it balanced theory and practical/hands-on experience very well; we worked at a steady and non-exhausting pace with plenty of opportunity to question and clarify anything we didn't understand (which hardly happened anyway as it was so well explained and demonstrated); we were put at ease before the practical assessment; it felt like a no pressure environment in which to learn and be examined at the end.



Jo is a concise, caring and amusing tutor; Jane is similarly placed.



I'm delighted I chose Phlebotomy Training Services as a training group - I've limited medical experience and yet have come away feeling confident in my abilities to practise (although I've only drawn blood from Rubber Adam Arm thus far...) and safe in the knowledge that if I require help/assistance/advice/hands-on practical mentoring I will be able to reach out to the school and the tutors.



Thank you for a great weekend; I've met some real characters and am enjoying our WhatsApp Vampire group banter. Phlebotomy is an amazing skill and I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to learn it from two such skilled, caring, funny and energetic individuals.
