Went for lunch...stayed all afternoon.

Smashing atmosphere food lovely and reasonably priced

Great setting everyone we spoke to loved living there.

I want a boat now !!!!!

User

Went for lunch yesterday it's a beautiful place the food was fantastic. Staff polite and friendly. Massive portions well worth the money. I've seen a few comments saying that prices are expensive. I'm no way well off but do believe you get what you pay for. I will return hopefully for the Tapas night

User

We went for a celebratory lunch on a very sunny Friday . Busy cheerful and definitely the place to be. The food was outstanding and HUGE portions . Thoroughly recommend a visit but also suggest you book a table if you know it’s going to be a nice day as it does get busy with walkers, cyclists and day trippers .

User

We hired Jubilee day boat today and have had a truly amazing day. The staff were lovely from booking, through the mini trial, and upon the return. It has been the perfect way to spend the perfect day, excellent value for Monday!!! Will be doing this again.

User

We have been residents at the marina now for about six weeks and would highly recommend it. The people are so friendly and the food is amazing (eggs benedict to die for).

User

Our first visit yesterday where we hired a canal boat for the day to celebrate my mum’s birthday and fathers’ day. Very friendly staff and excellent facilities. Our day trip was enjoyed by all of the family including our dog and we would recommend Pillings Lock to anybody thinking of hiring a boat for the first time.

My partner and I went for lunch yesterday and even though it was very busy the food was absolutely scrumptious, best Sunday lunch we've had in a long time!! We will be back

Friend and I went for lunch yesterday had fishcakes lush, food piping hot ,service great. Sat outsid after for coffee and cake lovely afternoon .

User

Decided to 'explore' the marina after passing signs for it on the A6 many times. And was surprised to come across 'The Boathouse'. In a nice peaceful setting within the marina. Excellent decor inside and comfortable seating on the decking outside. Menu pretty extensive and impressive. Not overpriced at all. Staff very pleasant. We have found a nice little 'haven' to drink and eat at and will be returning!!

User

Always have breakfast meetings there and food location and service spot on ...eggs benedict to die for ! Keep up the great work

User

A fab week end ,if you were not there you missed a treat, lots to do ,cream teas ,Bar b Q ,trips on the boats ,and lots more 😎😎😎

User

Really nice meal to celebrate my dad's 50th birthday with the family. 22 of us in total. A few mishaps with the meal but nothing major. The only disappointing thing was they had run out of desserts. With the beautiful day that was forecast and the knowledge there was a big table coming then surely you'd plan for this to ensure you don't run out! But overall lovely food and a lovely view!

User

Lovely place , the only negative is the lack of bar staff on the may bank holiday weekend event it's always the same every year !

User

We went hoping to enjoy a breakfast sat on the terrace on a lovely sunny day. Although the car park was busy, we easily found a table on the terrace and I went to order. There were a few people in front of me, and the queue was slow. The lady taking orders /doing drinks was obviously stressed, and was having a go at another member of staff. After I had been waiting around 15 minutes, I heard the lady telling another customer that breakfast orders had a delay of 45-50 mins. I called my husband over to let him know, whereupon another member of staff instantly gave our table to other people! We left without even having a drink. Lovely setting, maybe this was just a bad day.
