Using the latest Optomap and OCT eye testing technology, we can give you the most thorough examination of your eyes possible. The OCT scan looks deep at the central areas of your retina an...d the OPTOMAP scan gives us the most widest picture of your eyes which picks up more than 80% of your retina in great detail. This allows us to detect any problems sooner rather than later in many cases preventing loss of vision. Pinders are proud to be THE ONLY OPTICIAN in Southwell and Mansfield with Optomap technology as well as the only Optician within a 20 mile radius of our branches to have Optomap. Emma, the optometrist was very patient and understanding to my anxiety and really took her time to make me feel at ease and comfortable. I felt in charge of my appointment. Siobhan was, again, very patient and really knew her stuff. She helped me pick a lovely pair of glasses and it wasn't even a problem when I rang to say i'd changed my mind on the frame. I went down and picked another one, no problems at all. The ladies that work behind the desk are lovely and give you a warm, friendly welcome when you attend your appointment. Even when i've had to cancel several appointments, due to illness and anxiety, they have been nothing but understanding. Can't rate the Rufford Avenue site enough. It's warm and homely and makes you feel very relaxed. It's situated outside of town, with it's own small parking area, so you escape the hustle and bustle of the town centre (which is important to me because of my anxiety). Thank you to Emma, Siobhan and the other ladies.
