Great place to stay and if you fish there are two great lakes to fish definitely coming back next year and possibly in between now and then

User

Great campsite. We just show up with tent, no booking if on the back field. Friendly staff and owners on hand to help. Toilets and showers very clean and plenty of hot water. Great fishing lake for the day and club for the evening. Within walking distance of town.

User

Been camping on this site years manage to get every other weekend just turn up me n the pooch go up into the top field relax and have a fantastic time, showers and toilets clean never been in the bar with having the dog but turns sound good always plenty fishing on the ponds and the site is always busy so they must be doing something right the only place I will go just love the place and all the friends I've recommended enjoy it too

User

We stayed in a tent with no car. Friendly staff who made the effort to come and see how our son was after her was ill. Clean facilities just need a little update! Beautiful views at end of camp. Would stay again!!

We have been visiting Pinetrees for one week for at least six years, first when there actually was a small shop and a restaurant and lively club/pub well attended entertainment every night. Sadly the shop and restaurant are gone and although the club team do a Sterling job at entertaining numbers seem to have dropped significantly.

This year because of the new static development the site resembled a building site but with the promise of new surfaced roads electrics and even maybe a new amenities block things look brighter for the future.

Although fishing features highly, no one mention's the bird hides (now reduced to one what happened the first one) on the wetlands which offers a quiet retreat after a busy day visiting the local attractions.

We will of course visit again next year for our annual Skegness week and hope the site improves again.

User

The kids love fishing good place to go camping and have a good time

User

Lovely friendly site good entertainment, shower blocks were ok ,would still go back

User

Brilliant camp, entertainment was brilliant only thing missing is a swimming pool! Would of been 5 stars but there isn't a shop in site. a little shop would be a lifesaver!

User

Site not to bad within walking distance of skeggggggy £6taxi back bit steep for two miles, facilities needs soap and a good clean 3/10, and very very noisy club at night booked for two nights so stayed so ok

User

Not much fun when electric goes on and off day and night, reception says too many using electric so overloaded..What they don't say is that many tourers are sited on there as though they are statics and they have big household fridgefreezers in their awnings. They charged £2 per day for electric not good when your watching telly and it suddenly goes off or can't use hairdryers. Toilets and showers outdated and not very clean no soap to wash your hands either. Shame it used to be a lovely site as well but sadly now neglected..

User

Nice site, not too expensive but showers & toilet blocks could do with a bit of an update

User

Well where to start, prices changes on arrival even though booked year in advance, lady was very rude on reception when as you would the price was questioned, she asked if we was gay (as they don't allow that sort on this site) was her words, and we would be thrown off site if this was the case, very homophobic, how dare they discriminate on sexuality, I'd advise strongly against staying here, p.s we left our gay sex book on the bed we hope it helps for interesting reading

We called up in July to book our touring caravan on for the August bank holiday 2016, with hope to leave it on for the remainder of the season.

We were told over the phone that the site was fully booked and no electric pitch was available till the week after.

We have friends currently on site and decided to visit for the day.

On arrival it was clear that the site was not fully booked, with at least 5 electric pitches empty!!!!!

I want to know why I was told that It was FULLY BOOKED???

The toilet blocks where dirty and showers also dirty during our visit.

On the website it clearly states that the cafe is open until lunch time and also serves sandwiches at the evening !!!! THIS IS NOT TRUE, and was not open at all. My friends state the cafe has not been open all season!!! (False advertising)

I feel very angry that I was told the site was full and it is clear to see by the pictures added it was not !!

I would like to add, ALL the staff who work in the social club (on site ) at pine-trees should make you very proud !!!

What a truly fantastic bunch of people. They clearly love this site and make everyone feel welcome. From the bar staff to the entertainment people ,they could run this site on their heads and would make it fantastic.

This site has the potential to be amazing and be buzzing with campers.

Such a shame to see all the hard work from everyone at the social club go to waste when the bank holiday weekend was clearly NOT FULLY BOOKED !!!!!
