Pizza Express

We were here last night for my pre birthday treat, (toddler at grandma's for the night- yay!) so the hubster and I came here to enjoy a nice meal, a few drinks and some adult conversation. We have no complaints at all. The place had a lovely buzzy atmosphere, our waitress was top class and the food was lovely. Nice job you guys!

Hi. After a marathon tennis game with my son we agreed a pizza was required. I’m had a Caesar salad which was simply superb. Cheese egg and chicken strips to die for. Joe had a fiery pizza so big he had to carry half of it home. Terrific service so can’t wait to return 👍

A great evening with super service thanks

My fiancé ordered her pizza and ask for them to put light mozzarella on instead of normal mozzarella and for them to leave the red onion off and I just had mine as it came. When they both came, hers had red onion on so both were taken away. They both came back and when I tucked into mine, it tasted a bit burnt as I think they tried to keep mine warm, but was edible. We asked for the bill which came and they recognised the offer but they added the light mozzarella as an extra topping whereas we asked for it to be the substitute for the normal mozzarella. This was quickly rectified when we pointed it out to our waiter.

Only the week before we where at the one at Leicester Square in London and we didn't have these tiny school children errors there like what we had experienced at the one in West Bridgford, Nottingham.

I have rated them 3 out of 5 because of these tiny errors and as the staff didn't argue about there errors, it didn't ruin our evening.

It' gets a 3 as the food we got tasted nice but other than that a very disappointing experience. We had 2 o2 codes and also a paper voucher so I asked which we could use in combination as we wanted to stick to the rules, after fetching someone we were told we could as a favour use one o2 code and one paper voucher (I know in other pizza express this is not as issue and money comes off the cheapest meals) but we were made to feel like we were being cheeky asking. We could have used 2 o2 codes without question so we weren't asking for anything special. Starters came but had to ask for drinks way after starters finished. Mains were slow and pasta dish was incorrect but we had waited so long we didn't complain. Puddings were OK but waited ages for the bill and then there was some reference to split bills (again in a way that we were cheap skates)! Bill was incorrect as coffee charged twice. Because of its location I have been before on work outings and no doubt will again but this experience is no different to that last 2 times I have been. Not enough staff and not a welcoming experience.

Pizza was burnt! It took forever to get it. And quite frankly it was very expensive. I won't be going back.

Pizza is nice although expensive, but some of the staff are so slow or just don't bother doing anything & leave it to others running round. Not sure I would go back
