Well it’s the end of an era, we closed our doors for the last time today after thirteen and a half years. Another door opens next week and we are looking forward to life’s next challenge. We would like to thank everyone for taking the time to telephone, email, drive over to see us, comment through Facebook and the TVR forum etc. The response has been overwhelming and we will truly miss so many people. However we will keep in touch with many and time will now allow us to get to more TVR events. We would like to thank Colin, Martin, Andy, Luke and the rest of the team at TVR Parts who have been a great support to us and given us an excellent service. We are are really grateful to them all and wish them every success for the future. Once again, many thanks to to all our customers and all our suppliers over the years. Paul and Jill

THANKS Many thanks to everyone for your messages, we really appreciate everyone taking the time to make such lovely comments.
We have been overwhelmed by all the comments, telephone calls, emails, visits in person and the cards we have received already since our announcement on Friday. We can’t thank everyone enough for the support we’ve received.
... Amazing to think back to when TMS Performance Cars, Melton Mowbray (TVR Main Dealers) closed at the end of November 2005, that we would have carried on our business for thirteen and a half years, which we are proud of.
Peter O’Connor, the Owner of TMS at the time of closure, gave us the customer database, tools and equipment and persuaded the new tenants to rent us a small part of the workshop to get us started. Peter and the new tenants had faith in us and supported us at the start of our new business venture. We kept in touch and have always been grateful to them both. We were fortunate that as most of the TMS customers knew Paul from the TMS days (in his capacity as Technician and latterly Service Manager), they also supported us and continued to give us their business. We then moved to our current premises later the following year.
Our customers have made us the successful business we are and we are grateful to each and every one of you. In fact, many of you became friends and we will certainly keep in touch.

PPC NEWS Prestige Performance Cars have some news to announce. We have decided to finish our business from the end of March due to an opportunity that arose for us which was too good to miss. On one hand this is sad for us but exciting for our future.
The Engineering business next door to our unit approached us several months ago to ask if we would consider relinquishing our lease as they needed to expand and our unit was the obvious choice. We hadn’t at that point conside...red finishing the business but they offered Paul a job and it was an opportunity for us that we didn’t feel we could turn down. We will have much more quality time, Paul can reduce his working hours and Jill can reduce to part-time working. This will be so much better for us in the long run as it will give us more time with our Grandchildren and more quality time off.
We started our business 13 and a half years ago and have enjoyed our time, met some lovely people, customers and friends, and feel we have given all we can to support TVR. We will miss the TVRs but we will keep in touch via Car Club meetings and events in the future and we would like to thank everyone for their continued support and friendship.
We hope many of you will support Dom at Powers Performance after our closure.
Our last working day will be Thursday 28th March then we start our new careers with a few days off.

Stunning purple Tuscan just had Service and MOT.

New customer to PPC just had 12,000 service and a few jobs. Looks striking in the lovely winter sunshine.

Busy day so a late test drive after MOT and 12,000 Service. These TVRs look stunning no matter what the weather is like or what time of day it is!

Customer’s Tuscan S had been off the road for six years and we recently carried out MOT, Service and extensive work to get it back on the road for it’s owner to enjoy again.

Our long standing customer who owns a Chimaera, recently brought his Land Rover to us for an underbody clean and a waxoyl. Good protection for the winter.

This Chimaera hadn’t been used for over 10 years and we have just spent a couple of months carrying out extensive work to bring it up to standard for the customer to use and enjoy driving. Great to see another TVR back on the road again. We currently have another Chimaera that has been off the road for 8 years and a Tuscan that has been off the road for 6 years. Both cars having extensive work carried out.

New customer to PPC and the TVR community. Extensive job list to include Nitron Racing Systems Ltd Damper Kit, MOT, 6,000 Service and some Leven Technology accessories. Great to see we are still getting new customers!

Another lovely Chimaera recently collected following MOT and Service. Beautiful day to collect and enjoy the drive home.
