To the most splendid service we ever got in a hotel like this one whenever we needed it, you guys have been tremendous when we missed our megabus on early Wednesday morning from when we got lost with directions from beyond the university, and you did what ever help you provided for us. And especially a huge hearty thank you to the best employer you are lucky to have, sam.

We couldn't be even more thankfull for all this.

Take good care of yourselves!

Stayed here last night for my 21st birthday and all staff were super friendly and approachable. Went out during the day to do some shopping and returned to my room to find a bottle of rosé wine, a box of chocolates and a birthday card!! Such a lovely gesture and the 6 of us that stayed enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you very much :)

My husband and I stayed for 1 night on the 12th of February. We found the staff very friendly ,helpful and knowledgeable. The room was lovely and clean. There where two fans in the room for anyone who found it too warm. The meal deal was absolutely brilliant and saved us from having to go out and find places to eat. We went to see Erasure at the Concert Hall which was only a 5 minute walk away. Yes it is in the Student quarter but that didn't cause any problems for us at all. It was fun watching all the characters that came into the on site Costa. Parking was our only concern and the sat nav wanted to send us up a road that was a no entry for cars. We parked up, asked parking warden for help and we where soon sorted. We would definitely stay here again

I wish I could give it more stars because the way they helped us out was out of this world. There's been a situation because of Megabus in which we had missed our bus back to Newcastle. We rang the hotel and explained what had happened and they had let us stay another 24 hours in the Costa Coffee seating area, allowed us to leave our luggage here whilst out and about, gave us a Coffee each in the morning. Costa staff were aware of our situation and gave us a free slice of cake each. The manager has been great with us and also a big mention to Dan who was very sympathetic with what we had been through with Megabus and then there's Sam who stood out from all of the excellent staff here. Give that man a pay rise!! Onto our stay..... Beds were very comfy, rooms were clean, everything worked and the breakfast was delicious. We plan on coming back to Nottingham soon so we will definitely be booking this hotel again.

User

Great location for shopping and in my case attending the motorpoint arena to see John Bishop (15min walk or quick tram ride).

Lots of students in the area...well it is opposite Trent university but heard very little noise from them or the trams. Friendly staff and nice clean rooms typical of a premier inn.. decent breakfast..only downer I suppose is a tiny car park on a first come first served basis..but it is a city centre location..not the space that the out of town inns are afforded. Overall 5☆☆☆☆☆

User

Awesome service through out our stay. Including being able to request more tea/coffee towels and a spare key card when i locked us out of our room. We had an incident where the taxi company dropped us off at the wrong area and we missed the megabus. We rang the hotel and explained and they were amazing with the response they let us stay in the lobby they gave us coffee in the morning and they gave us food they couldn't resell after the end of the day. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Most notably Sam who worked the night shifts while we were there. He constantly checked up on us made sure we were okay he chatted with us he took an interest in us and made us feel welcome he was incredibly friendly and helpful definitely deserves a raise or a promotion. He's a major credit to Premier Inn.

User

Only two plug sockets in the room - TV&Kettle , so you have to juggle phone charging :-) and with the trams going past till after 0100 , it can get a bit noisy , the alcohol fuelled students not helping as you can hear them talking /shouting all the way up the street as they stagger from the clubs etc, no aircon so you get poor secondary glazing , this doesn’t keep the noise out very well . Other than that it’s your comfy bed as standard :-)

User

It would have been 5 if the air conditioning in the rooms was working!

I always stay at the Premier Inn when visiting Nottingham: one can always be sure of a comfortable, clean, well maintained room at a Premier, as the rooms are all the same, irrespective of where you stay. Nottingham has serious problems when it comes to reasonably priced car parking, and the Premier Inn only has 9 spaces, issued on a first come first served basis. Knowing this, I always travel in by train. Having praised the room, I admit that they must now be approaching the time for a makeover. However, people who have complained need to bear in mind what they paid: I have to pay for single occupancy of a double room, which actually sleeps three: a family of three or four can share the same room for the same price, making Premier Inns very cheap compared to other hotels...and believe me I have stayed in some very grotty ones in Nottingham, much further from the city centre than this one. I have always had a good night's sleep. However, I tend to stay during the week. It's unfortunate that drunk and uncivilised behaviour seems increasingly common nowadays. If one does not get a good night's sleep one gets a refund. I know of no other hotel which does this as policy.

User

Probably the hottest premier inn I've ever stayed in! I was melting Our room was backing onto some kitchen/industrial fans ect which was a nightmare of a sound to get to get to sleep with - had to shut the window because of this which resulted in being more hot. The fan was quiet so that was a result as I could sleep with that on all night.

Bunch of youngsters came in early hours and were shouting, arguing, barging into doors & walls ect which wasn't very ideal - very noisy. (Not the hotels fault I know).

Our sink in the bathroom was also blocked. Otherwise location was good, staff seemed ok & my room was clean & tidy. Loving the Costa too!

User

Ok for what it is apart from no air con in the rooms. Hot summer weather and the only cooling to the room was two fans. Wpuld have thought they would have air con.

The food in the resturant is meh.... pretty bland with the feeling that everything is precooked. The menu does have plenty of choice wity calories and such stated on some dishes.

The staff are friendly just not a polished service given.

User

Me and my wife in the room, but only one towel. Room very clean and bed very comfortable. We stay in premier inns all over the country and have to say this one as the worst breakfast we every had. Not a lot of choice and no bread and people queuing a long time for cooked breakfast stuff to come out, and it wasn't that busy. Every other premier Inn we've been to we've been asked if we want porridge, but not here. I think the best thing about premier Inns is the breakfast, but again, not here.

User

We have stayed here before in a family room but this time it was just the two of us the room sided on to the staircase and some kind of ventilation system that was very noisy, we had to have the window open to allow some air as it would have been to warm and stuffy. The parking is also a nightmare and an additional £12 so two stars is being generous

User

We had the family room last night lovely room lots of space, my problem is we're surrounded by students that have no respect for other people, I complained this morning an they moved us no problem,i said I hope we're not near students this time, no she said well that was a load of crap we still have them across the hall and they are as noisy, I've warned them that I have a 2 an a half year old I'm trying to get to sleep, well they don't give a damb selfish people, if this place wants students then perhaps they shouldn't take in families, I'm fuming

User

We booked for a 2 night stay but unfortunately checked out (before the check out time!) after the first night. The room was unbearably hot, even after altering the thermostat, turning the heater off at the wall and having the fan on, it was too much! It was much easier to cancel our next night and drive home rather than attempt another night sleeping in that oven. We also only had one bath towel and one hand towel between two of us and despite having to shut the windows, the noise level was still high, although we expected some due to the city centre location. The location, however was perfect for what we wanted, but we cut our stay short which is a slight disappointment. We were compensated our parking fee as a 'good will gesture' but we soon realised it was because we asked to pay it on card, not cash, and problems with the machine meant it couldn't be processed, which meant it wasn't exactly a goodwill gesture as such, but it saved us encountering another problem!

User

The location is the only thin I can rate about this premier inn. The first hurdle was the parking. We had to go to the Q-Park and the prices were extortionate and the distance wasn't great either. The room wasn't very clean. The walls had dirty hand print marks on them and the hand wash and body gels in the bathroom were empty. We were there on a Saturday and found it disappointing that the costa coffee had closed at 3pm. We paid for breakfast which was terrible. The staff were not helpful. There wasn't a lot of hot food and there was a hair in the mushrooms. Also the toaster was not working and the staff didn't seem concerned about this. We will not be staying here again!!!

User

On arrival found out Car Park was closed due to having work done on it ... Found a letter swaying in the wind stuck to the automatic gate advising us off alternative Parking .. We booked in December so a email letter us know would off been nice !!! No hot water so had to have a cold shower !! When mentioned to reception they weren't interested and just said they have been having trouble with the boiler for a while !!! Restaurant didn't open till 18.00 and we was going out at 18.30 .. so had to walk into town to find something to eat before going out .. !! Take your own pillars as the ones provided were useless!! And when we got home we both had violent diahorria and the only thing we had eaten that day was the buffet breakfast!!! Other than that we has a wonderful stay

User

Very Poor. A lot not available from the menu on the meal deal. Rooms cold, very noicey especially the front room when the trams past.

User

No air con!!!!..no plugs on bedside and have to use a Cpap..did provide extension lead which only just reached!!..Breakfast..worst one I,ve had at Premier and stayed in a few!!..Poached eggs like snot..bacon and sausage half cooked..would I stay here again..NO!!..but on plus side Staff were nice!!!
