[PLANNING YOUR FRUIT AND VEGETABLE INTAKES!]
As you already know planning is a massive part of many people’s success when it comes to a successful transformation…
I'm sure you hear this all the bloody time, probably a bit fed up hearing it!
... But it's absolutely true.
Let’s take your 5-a-day for example.
When you go shopping, do you know exactly how many portions to buy to ensure you, and potentially everyone in your household is sorted in this area??
I dare say the majority of people probably don't.
The majority will walk up and down the aisles, get LOTS of fruit and veg, and take it from there.
To achieve 5 a day:
1 Person = 35 portions per week 2 People = 70 portions per week 3 People = 105 portions per week 4 People = 140 portions per week
None of this would likely be achieved by accident, but only by planning it out!
Now, what other areas of your nutrition could you be leaving to chance???
P.s. those numbers may seem like unachievable, waaaay more than you could ever get in the shopping.
But as you go through your daily/weekly recipes it’s actually much easier than it sounds.
Today, for example, I could have an apple and a banana for snacks, as well as a protein shake. I could have a beautiful pepper onion and tomato omelette for breakfast, homemade chicken and leek soup for lunch, and a home-made beef burger with sweet potato wedges and beans for an evening meal.
In just this one day you could be getting up to 7 portions of your 5 a day… easy ;)

[HABITS AROUND FITNESS AND NUTRITION CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE!]
Nutrition is usually what we talk about in these posts, but I really want to blend this into a few other topics too today.
Your habits define you, everything you do, everything you achieve.
... Take running a marathon. You HAVE to have the habit of 3 shorter more intense runs per week, and longer endurance runs at the weekend as a standard weekly habit for example.
You stay CONSISTENT with this habit? Whilst gradually increasing your mileage week in week out? You end up running the marathon.
Now, this is just ONE avenue, running the marathon I’m referring to here.
But let’s take getting ONE area of your nutrition right for say one week. Let’s say you get 5 portions of fruit and veg every day of the week.
EXCELLENT. You’ve begun incorporating a new habit.
But now you’re looking after your exercise more? People NATURALLY start to improve other areas too as a knock-on consequence, take your exercise for example.
Over the next few weeks, you may work your way up to exercising 3x a week too alongside your new nutrition habit.
But guess what? You realise you could feel even better if you didn’t smoke at the weekends… so this becomes dramatically reduced if not eliminated too…
Then you stay hydrated more because you learn about the benefits… You start encouraging your friends and family to get into nutrition and fitness too… You start to listen to podcasts and audiobooks about fitness and nutrition… You start looking and feeling incredible day to day… Which rubs off on your productivity at work… You’re a happier person day to day which rubs off on your personal relationships…
You see how the power of focusing on ONE little win and staying consistent with it can make a dramatic difference to your life over time?
Please don’t ever underestimate the power of nutrition, fitness, consistency and your daily habits.
As I mentioned to you before they literally form the results in everything you do both inside and outside of health and fitness!
Hope this inspires you to have much more consistency and positivity in all you approach over the coming week and months from here!!
