We went on 13th May and fish was amazing ... Brought out to us .. Very nice , staff very friendly and the toilets were very clean Nice one

The meal of fish chips and peas was very tasty very pleasant staff will go again next time I'm in matlock

The best in Matlock Bath. Best chips I've had since Whitby. Seating outside to view the bikes..bonus.

I’ve been coming to Matlock bath fir the past 45 years, born in wirksworth, this chippy is the best one I’ve ever eaten in nationwide! Worth the 5 stars!! 😊🇬🇧

I haven't been here for a while ,but the fish and chips are just as good as ever and the staff freindly with quick service . Still a lovely chip shop to stop at for a quick bite to eat or to sit in and take your time �������

Hello. Sam's entrance to the city shocked me and I felt like somewhere in Switzerland. This river, these streets, these houses, this atmosphere, these mountains, just a wonderful place on earth. And what is important is that this city is worth recommending to all. My friends would recommend to visit this place, this city.

Fantastic food at a great price, served by polite friendly staff every time Iv been.

Didn't fancy fish and chips but everyone seemed to be sat round eating them so joined them . Asked for 2small fish and chips if what we got was small I would have difficulty eating s large portion. Served by a lovely friendly guy felt really welcome will definitely going back

We loved the fish chips and peas from here. However the batter could have been a lot crispier....just our opinion. The shop, cafe and loos were spotless and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend

Good chips just a bit pricy

A high end £8ish for cod chips curry sauce and a can of vimto which must of been a quid but can't fault the food and the service was excellent.

Stopped by largely because there was space to park the bikes right outside! That said, fish, chips and mushy peas went down a treat. Clean place and friendly service. Only thing is, I'm posting this from the toilet where I'm stuck. It's so tight you can't turn round......been here two days already.........😳

Worst fish I’ve ever had, never again. I would suggest they should come up to Leeds and find out how to fry fish & chips, lard not oil. And take the bloody skin off just lazy.
