Thanks again Queniborough Online
I will be putting up signage today around the church area and doing a general tidy up of the memorial area. A bit of de-weeding of the slabbed area and doing a general litter pick so it doesn't look so disheveled in redines for next sunday.
This will be followed up again next Saturday evening so it will be the best it can be on the day.
... We may not have the march this year but this does not mean the act of remembrance should not be treated with less reverence than it deserves.
And with the assistance of the council and the villagers I'm sure. No I'm certain it will be a go ahead for next year in readiness of the remembrance of Dunkirk.

Me again.
I'm looking for x4 marshals to assist with the act of Remembrance I have been in meetings with the council and they are going to assist us to close of the road around the church so that everyone attending the Act of Remembrance stays safe. I will be putting up road closure signs as of tomorrow evening.
As always any assistance is gratefully accepted.
... With thanks Chas

Went to pay my respects to fallen friends at the National Arboretum today to find it at least 8/10th under water.
I always make a point of going just before remembrance day with my wife and kids. As I believe it's important to keep the memories of those who have passed alive.
