Your local Air Cadet Unit based at old RAF Newton is holding some Recruitment Evenings on Monday 15th and Wednesday 17th April at 7.15pm at Trenchard Close, Newton, Nottingham, NG13 8HH. To join as a cadet you must be minimum age 12 and in year 8 or above. To join as an adult instructor you do not need to have any prior military experience, just a willingness to help out and join a great team. There are many opportunities on offer from the Air Cadets, including flying, gliding, adventure training, academic qualifications such as BTec and CVQO, sports and first aid training. There is no commitment to join but the opportunity to visit, find out more about the activities on offer and ask any questions you may have. — at 1936 Newton Squadron
