Went to Raleigh head office with a view to becoming an ebike dealer, the range is fantastic and looking forward to bringing them onboard in my shop. I have read some negative comments on their warranty and service on here but I have to say it's second to none, I am happy to sell Raleigh bikes without worrying about possible warranty issues

User

Raleigh is a original english bike from nottingham what's got fond memories with my child hood, I had so many of there famous brands what gave me so much pleasure, shame they hit bad times year's ago, with some smart ideas an investment and enthusiasm they should be a top brand again.

In April 2016 I bought myself a new Raleigh Loxley bicycle, which looks and feels great. However, I did have a slight problem but their employee Chris was very helpful and resolved it for me.

User

I've recently bought a 2015 Raleigh Militis Pro and I'm so impressed. It just wants to be ridden fast all the time and responds to every effort I put down on the pedals with an immediate response. Great frame and love the SRAM rival group set. I've had plenty of positive comments on how great the bike looks and I haven't regretted this purchase at all.

User

I purchased a second hand Raleigh Militis 3 from eBay to use on zwift, I’d never ridden road bike before but after 3 months I ventured out & joined a road club, the Militis 3 has bin an amazing bike & never let me down. Since then I’ve taken ownership of a brand new Raleigh Mustang comp & it’s a joy to ride, I swap between gravel & road tyres, just like the Militis the bike does what it says on the tin brilliantly. I’m now onto my 3rd Bike, building up a Raleigh Militis Team etap for summer 18, I really can’t wait to swing a leg over her & let rip! I love that I’m a Nottingham lad born & bred & im rocking 3 Nottingham branded bikes, keep up the good work Raleigh your bikes are simply mint

5/5 all day everyday!

User

I bought a Raleigh Torus from their head office in Nottingham - I think the early 90s - and I’m still riding it today. It was set up for me by a man in the racing division and didn’t require kind of adjustments for years. Even now, apart from a few tyres, inner tubes, small adjustments to the gears, new brake blocks, it’s all the same as the day I bought it.

An unusual looking bike in its day due to the motorcycle type fork, which still gets enquiring glances now. Well built, well designed and a fitting reflection on a quality company.

User

Hi, I’am from Hungary. I have a Raleigh Criterium Comp 2016. I just love it! Have a perfect frame geometry, I can easily ride it fast. Even on the sloples, it goes smoothly. And it looks great!!!

User

5* excellent service

User

1st ride on my new raleigh revenio 2. Wow did 30 miles easy made the hills feel flat and I still had energy to go on. Only been road cycling a year. And this bike made it even more enjoyable.

User

I bought a Raleigh Motus Step through hub. Lovely bike unfortunately I had an issue with brakes and dynamo light etc and went to the only local Raleigh dealer (where bike was purchased) They gave it back to me with brakes as inefficient as ever and unsafe and had not fixed lights. It was its first service! Now left in a situation that I have a lovely bike but no good aftercare and service available!

User

So far very poor customer service. Ordered a baby blue Raleigh Array with white tyres. 4mths later it arrives electric blue and black tyres! They say "Its just an illustration and we have the right to change the tyres ". No apology. No solution. Very bad tone of replies. Have asked for a senior member of staff to answer. Still waiting.

User

So My Raleigh Stowaway 7Just snapped in two while riding to work this afternoon, throwing me off and doing my back in, if I was on the road and not an overpass I could have been killed ! Just come back from hospital now You'll be hearing about this. #badlymanufactured #dangerous #hazzard #fuming

User

Quality and Customer Service just awful. One star too good for them. 2 months after purchase the hub on my E-bike packed up - skipping gears/slipping on even the slightest incline. After months of wrangling and being unable to ride my £2000 bike, Raleigh eventually agreed to replace the hub. Now, I've just taken the bike in for a service (luckily I had the forethought to do it before the warranty expired) and the dealership stated that the lower stem pinch bolt was stripped and the drive side axle nut was cross threaded and needed replacement, with many bolts having been tightened to the incorrect torque values. The rear wheel was also out of true. The only stem that Raleigh would supply under warranty (and that reluctantly) is a different colour to the original so the bike looks ridiculous. I've contacted Customer Service, but their previous record doesn't fill me with any hope whatsoever that Raleigh will care that they have sold me a 'lemon' - and a dangerous one at that.

User

I’m not impressed with the array e-bike. I have had nothing but problems with it and now Derailleur hanger has snapped I’ve never had a crash I don’t ride like an idiot on this bike maybe I should use my Santa Cruz bike not

User

I only gave this one star because 0 stars isn't an option. I bought a shop soiled haibike from Raleigh which has been nothing but problems I've been getting 20ish miles range from the battery in eco mode instead of 60+ the brake keeps losing pressure and needing bleeding. the chain drops of and gets stuck behind the chain ring on every descent and the freewheel in the motor intermittently sticks open losing all drive.

Raleigh keep not calling back passing me on to other people who also don't call back it can't take over a month for a decision to be made. now they are telling me theirs nothing wrong with the bike and refusing to give me a refund. I know that bike has major faults and I've been a professional bike mechanic for 15 years I know what I'm talking about. The product was poor the customer service is beyond shocking!

User

I bought a new Raleigh Classic from Broad-rib Cycles in Bicester.

After 4 weeks the pedal crank hub came loose. They fixed it under warranty.

It came loose again so I tightened it up. Now about 8 weeks after purchase the front wheel bearings are so rough that you can hear them when you are riding. They are a safety critical item and could seize when I am riding causing an accident, As an ex-Department of Transport Vehicle Examiner my opinion is that of an expert.

They would not replace them and only greased them. They say that they are a consumable item like tires. Rubbish. The bearings should last for a long time. So now we all know a Raleigh has consumable bearings - I am not satisfied and will now take my complaint to the Dept of Fair Trading. I also did not like being told its is only a £200 bike.....They have now replaced the front wheel bearings FOC. Raleigh never responded.
