The Red Lion Pub and TruckStop offers premier security, quality in food, relaxing The Red Lion Pub and TruckStop offers premier security, quality in food, relaxing showers and a distinctive exuberant atmosphere. While parking is as little as £12 (including a £4 voucher for food or drink inside) The Red Lion is miles ahead of its competitors for value. With opening times stretching from 5am – 11. 30pm we are open around the clock to provide a service unrivalled by any. We have a team of staff that have such an attention to detail that there will be no aspects of your stay here unsatisfactory.
THE CAFE
The Café serves traditional Pub Food, which is also all home made.
The menu ranges from Mighty Mix Grills, 10oz Juicy Rump steaks to Homemade Beef Lasagnas, Chili Corn Carnes and Savory Minces.
We also cater for the health conscious drivers by offering Various Salads, such as Chicken Salad, Ham Salad, Cheese Salad and so on, which all include Potatoes Salad and Coleslaw with the meal.
We Also offer a wide range of Sandwiches and Baguettes if you are only feeling a tad hungry.

We pride ourselves with our drinks, whether it is a larger, bitter or one of our fine Real Ales. We have happy hour twice a week as well as extended happy hours on football nights, giving drivers the privilege of pints for £2 during the game. As well as this, we have horse racing nights which are in aid of charity, a pool room, darts board and occasionally we have special one off promotion nights.

Possibly one of the best Truckstop’s in the uk�great food clean great showers good beers and very pleasant staff 10 out of10 from me��
Please to say that it was my 1st time in there and the service was good the food was excellent
I visit 1st time in red lion l like v much l had chill corn was really delicious v nice bar v good staff and clean shower and small shop for truckers for shopping love this place keep it up Mawri the best�
I always used to try to make it to the Red Lion when I was on a night out in the Northampton area.
Now I’m retired I still pop in if I’m in the area. Good food & beer, and at least I don’t have to park on that bumpy lorry park anymore. lol �
Great place to have nice hot shower and great food to eat but lorry park needs sorted out!

First visit here and so far I am very impressed, hunters chicken was really tasty and well presented, the restaurant area is spotlessly clean as are the toilets and showers. £3 for the laundry and £1 for 20mins in the dryer is very reasonable. The only changes I would like to see is a proper tarmac lorry park as its a little on the bumpy side and maybe a small gym. But other than those request a spot on place to park up for the night.

Nice bar n lovely food n bar staff great but ffs sort out that car park surface as felt like my trailer was gonna tip over as so uneven n bumpy

Absolutely stop on loses a star for the state of the yard!!! Seriously close for a week and resurface it!! We can’t take some loads into there as they get shot all over the place!
Pub is perfect, the food is phenomenal, the service is perfect. But the parking lot should be concreted. It's terrible if I get in a truck. I'm afraid I'm going to fall!
