Reminiscence Vintage will be transforming Number 28 with their vintage loveliness and serving tea, coffee, home made cakes and scones and delicious sandwiches. Gluten free and vegan options will be available . Come and browse the wonderful art, soak up the ambience and enjoy a delicious morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea.

Not been here much lately but that doesn't mean the baking hasn't been happening . We baked 20 cakes for the performing artists for their tea at Stainsby Festival the weekend before last and they were very well received:) We have been putting our minds to vegan baking too and today we baked these :) Delicious and totally vegan ! Just need Jo, Sue or Maddie to come and confirm our opinion now ...

Thank you to the wonderful musicians who played for us ( more photos to come) and to the artists who made the venue look so stunning and to Jayne Nemeth for inviting us to be part of the event .

We are all set up and ready for another busy day of Belper Open Houses 2017 at Number 28 Belper for Belper Arts Festival . We are surrounded by stunning art, looking forward to listening to some lovely live music and the cakes are delicious ...and YES ! we do do sandwiches and there are gluten free and vegan options :)

It's crazily busy at Rem Vin HQ today !! Baking , ironing, shopping ...you name it .... mustn't forget to take the dog for a walk at some point ;) ! Hope to see lots of you enjoying the wonderful art for Belper Open Houses 2017 this weekend as a final flourish to Belper Arts Festival. We will be at Number 28 all day Saturday and Sunday with some great home made cakes and wonderful musicians and artists :)

Tom Genders is an astonishingly talented artist and will be exhibiting at Number 28 Belper for Belper Open Houses 2017 the weekend after next as part of Belper Arts Festival. He is currently working on a giant canvas featuring the Major Oak ...not to be missed ! Pop in and stay a while in our lovely cafe which will be at the venue on Saturday and Sunday :)

Mmmmmm...just baked some courgette muffins ! I was a bit sceptical, but they are absolutely delicious! (There were twelve about an hour ago ...) They must be good for you, surely 😉

This is tomorrow night and unmissable . It is unlikely to be performed again unfortunately so make sure you don't miss out . The wonderful film by Anthony Hatton features cine film edited into a wonderful narrative and the film has an original live musical score performed by amazing musicians and composed by Dave Sturt. There will be the opportunity to chat to Dave and Tony afterwards about the fabulous Past Lives Project that they have been collaborating on over the past couple of years all over the Midlands .This performance is part of this year's Belper Arts Festival. Tickets are available on the door.

The wonderful Past Lives Project will be performing their live music score and screening their wonderful Belper film as part of @ Belper Arts Festival at St Peters Church on Sunday 14th May. If you missed it recently at the Ritz cinema you will not want to miss this and if you saw it there I bet you'd love to come again 😀

Please vote for our lovely talented friend Sunflower Thieves to appear at YNot Festival . They have been attending for years and it would be wonderful for them to be on the bill :)
