THE PLACE CALLED HOREB: The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: ‘You have dwelt long enough at this mountain [Deuteronomy 1:6]. Horeb is a place where you stop reaching out for the promises of God and you don't attempt new frontiers or break new ground because you are now in your comfort zone.
