We had a band in rehearsing today made up of 15 and 16 year olds and they sounded great!
It's refreshing to see young talent picking up instruments and coming down to rehearse!
If you know any promising young talent, encourage them to pick up an instrument and be creative, it's the best thing we at Rewind ever did!

Has anyone seen Bohemian Rhapsody yet? If not, we highly recommend going to see it!
Not only is it a great film, it reminded us that Queen's performance at Live Aid remains one of the greatest live shows of all time!
Here's hoping it will encourage more people to start/join a band!

We've noticed a distinct lack of younger bands at Rewind over the last couple of years, so we want to help try and revive the scene by doing our part to help younger bands out!

when I was still playing with a band before disability I found the place to be ideal. john is a really nice guy and very helpful. since then I've taken advantage of the recording facilities and the place is terrific. five stars.

Wouldn’t choose anywhere else to practice, gear and facilities always up to a high standard and Jon is the most accommodating owner you could hope to meet. Couldn’t recommend enough.

The best rehearsal studio in the area, very well equiped with drums, amps and pa in each room.

I have been using rewind since its opening and highly recomend it to any band, artist and musician.

Many well known acts have also used Rewind for rehearsals just ask the owner John to drop a few names.

There is also a great spares shop that sell all the basic bits from skins to sticks and picks to amps.

Drum and guitar lessons can be arranged there is also the in house recording studio called "zoo recording studios".

This is the first choice of all great local musicians and for those further away due to its centralised and easily accessible location.

The best in the area, a chilled place, with good equipment, and friendly people. John (the boss) is an awesome chap. If you've never been, pop in and have a chat and a coffee, you'll meet some proper characters. : )

Rewind is without doubt the best rehersal rooms in the area. Great rooms with great equipment, our band have been using Rewind for many years and have never had any problems.

John is a top bloke, a true musician, regularly going above and beyond to accommodate musicians and bands of all ages in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

With regards to the one bad review on this page......

I was at Rewind the other week setting up for a guitar lesson I was about to teach, the bloke who wrote said review was upstairs in one of the other rooms. After attempting to move one of the gas heaters, he dropped the bottle and broke it. His attitude following this was disgusting, everyone there could here him shouting various swear words as he stamped down the stairs having his little tantrum, then had the nerve to blame John and his equipment. Thankfully, the young girl I was about to teach hadn’t arrived yet, no one should have to listen to people like that, let alone someone of her age. John, quite rightly, informed him he was not welcome back if he was going to have that sort of attitude, hence the one, rather bitter, bad review posted by him on this page.

Rewind is without doubt the best rehearsal studio in the area. The rooms are well equipped and well priced, as is any additional equipment hire. John is an experienced and knowledgeable guy but importantly he is an encouraging, enthusiastic musician who does everything he can for aspiring musicians. Rewind is THE place for musicians to progress.

Only ever used rewind for band rehearsal and wouldn’t use anywhere else now, well equipped rooms, good sound proofing, great staff and even have refreshments available! 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area.

John’s always done what he can to be able to accommodate my projects over the past decade or so (sometimes at short notice too), would go there again �

John's worked hard over the years to provide a good environment for local musicians, young and old, to rehearse. Keeping all the rooms & kit maintained, putting up with non-paying cancellations, all the time with a focus on keeping a friendly, safe atmosphere. I've used his place in several bands over a number of years going back to when he was in Earl Shilton - and the service John has provided has never been less than excellent. If you need somewhere to rehearse in Hinckley - this is the place.

I’ve been going to Rewind week in week out for over 10 years across 2 different bands, and simply wouldn’t go anywhere else.



Great selection of rooms, all well maintained, and John is simply the nicest guy you could meet.



There’s a great little gear shop to pick up strings, sticks, picks etc too, an in house recording studio and even a drum tuition room. Everything a musician could want! �

I've been practising here for 16 years, and having occasionally rehearsed elsewhere I can honestly say no other establishment even comes close to the standard and friendliness of Rewind.



The owner, John, has always gone above and beyond to ensure that his rooms are comfortable and equipped with all of the gear necessary for a successful rehearsal. But it's not just the practice rooms that make Rewind my foremost choice for rehearsal - it's how the business is run.



John is one of the most kind-hearted people I've had the pleasure of meeting in any aspect or area of my life. From my first time here as a young teenager with no experience of the music industry, all the way to the present day, he has looked after my bands with a level of care that far exceeds my expectation or his role - and he manages to be this way for all of the bands who become regulars here. You frankly couldn't ask or want for more than John gives!



If you're in a band looking for a high quality rehearsal space, or wanting a safe, suitable practice room for your children to go to so they can enjoy making music (for an affordable price!), look no further than Rewind.

I have never Been to a better place Rewind (John) Looked after my Sons Band from 2009 to 2013 he gave them a regular room or if free let them use the biggest room instead. since then My sons College Band and others. I have been going to Rewind for years with different bands and it's a home from home. Also, John is one of the best geezers ever.

I can’t recommend Rewind highly enough. John makes it what it is. It’s such a personal experience going there.
