We're delighted to discover we've made The Times & The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies To Work For list for the second year running! üéâüéàü•Ç
We've moved up the 2020 rankings to 78th position in the UK, up from 91st.
This comes on the back of another triumph - earning Best Companies 3-star status for the first time.

This year RH Amar has taken part in the KidsOut Giving Tree initiative. KidsOut gives disadvantaged children positive experiences, organising days out and providing gifts to bring some cheer at Christmas time.
We're delighted to say a whopping 71 presents were bought - which means the Christmas wishes of 71 children will be fulfilled!

Justin joins us from Bayer Consumer Healthcare, where he spent almost five years as the company’s UK & Ireland Sales Director.
Prior to that, Justin had several commercial roles during a seven-year spell at Birds Eye, rising to Grocery Trading Director. He started his 24-year FMCG career at PepsiCo, where he spent a decade in sales roles, before moving to Kettle Foods as Head of Impul...se.

A huge well done to the RH Amar team who tackled the Shine for Cancer Research UK Night Walk half marathon on Saturday.
Pacesetters Rob, Paivi and Jess clocked in at 4 hrs 14 mins, while Nerene, Sam, Lesley and Paul reached the finish line in 5 hrs 31 mins - with plenty of blisters to show for it!
Most importantly, they raised more than £1,600 in the process for a very worthy cause. 🙌🥇

Seven RH Amar products have picked up Great Taste Awards 1-star wins for 2019. ⭐
Candy Kittens scooped two awards for their Sour Watermelon and Peach Fizz sweets. Judges particularly liked the “fun, vibrant appearance” and “good sour elements that balance the sweetness”.
Mustard maker Bornier was also a double winner – for their Dijon and Wholegrain variants – earning plaudits for the “bold flavour” and “wonderful aroma” of the condiments.
... Other winners were Kikkoman UK Gluten Free Teriyaki Marinade (“flavours are clean and long lasting”), Meica Bockwurst (“appetising smoky aroma and good clean taste”) and Buiteman Parmesan Cheese Crumbles (“moreish and will not disappoint”).

On 21st September, a team from RH Amar will participate in the Shine Night Walk for Cancer Research UK.
The event involves a night-time walking half marathon through the streets of London, raising much needed funds for Cancer Research.
The team – aptly named the Amar Cirque de Sore Legs – consists of Nerene, Lesley, Sam, Jess, James, Rob and Paivi.
