Robin Hood Gymnastics Club Description
Robin Hood gymnastics Club is a new Nottingham Club Based in Sherwood. The club has been formed to cater for both the demands of the local community and the surrounding area.
Notts Gymnastics Academy has been the centre of East Midlands gymnastics for over 15 years and has run out of space so in association with Notts Head Coach Claire Starkey Robin Hood has been formed to offer similar activities and programs of training that have been proven to be so successful at Notts.
Whether you’re a parent looking to channel the energies of your toddlers, primary age or teenage children, an adult interested in fitness and flexibility or an elite gymnast wanting a bit more room or extra private classes Robin Hood is planning to be able to meet the needs of all.
There are no greater athletes in the world than gymnasts. Pound for pound, male and female, gymnasts stand among the strongest, most coordinated athletes in the world. No other sport requires the same combination of flexibility, perfect coordination and power, not to mention the extraordinary courage and strength of mind that are required to perform at the highest levels.
For all children, all ages to simply have a year or 2 of gymnastics will prepare them physically and mentally for the various challenges they face growing up.
The New Club is affiliated to British Gymnastics.

Amazing results for our young Robin Hood gymnasts yesterday at the Nottinghamshire County Championship. Fabulous performances, truck loads of medals won including overal gold medal for Sunah Landa and overal silver for Iona and Aaliyah. Scores to to shortly but here’s a couple of pictures to keep you going - WELL DONE ALL
REMINDER
We have accumulated rather alot of unclaimed lost property. This includes, water bottles, clothing, odd shoes, reading glasses, jewellery etc.
We will be displaying the lost property in the party room from Monday 9th July - Sunday 15th. After this point, any unclaimed lost property will be given to charity.

Took my daughter for the first time yesterday and she loved it. All the ladies helped her and nobody was left out. She never joins in anything so a really big step for her, felt very welcoming :)
Took my daughter Abby to fun day today and she had a blast even did a few hours training with the coaches she was buzzing when she came home so big thumbs up
Our daughter goes to the new Rhythmic class on a Sunday and absolutely loves it! Alba the coach is great, and always makes it fun and varied. Made to feel welcome and would definitely recommend the club.
New to the club and everyone is very friendly,outgoing and supportive from admin to the coaches and my girls are really enjoying coming to the club each week. It is well organised and each week they come home buzzing from all what they have learnt and tried out. Thank you and highly recommended!
My little girl came for two days holiday training here. She loved it and learnt so much in such a short space of time. Thank you for having her and we will definitely be back again. X
My daughter is part of the elementary squad! Not only are the coaches amazing all parents are a team, my daughter loves being here and wants to be here so much more! Not only does shes really enjoy it but its given her such confidence as well!!!
My daughter has now prgressed to a squad! Fantastic teachers! She's doing so well! Thank you
My daughter attends Robin Hood gymnastics as a performance squad member and absolutely loves her time there! ( which is a large amount of hours !)
Its a very friendly, well run busy club. Lead by Claire and Laurent both with a huge amount of experience and wealth of knowledge of gymnastics spanning over 25 or more!
They have a fantastic team of coaches behind them which is expanding rapidly !!
My daughter Grace joined the RH potential squad in January and she loves every minute of training. I can't believe how much she has grown already in strength, confidence and ability. She has made some lovely new friends and the coaches are fantastic too!
Massive thanks to the coaches from Robin Hood Gymnastics for helping our girls from High Peak Gymnastics at grades today. High Peak have had multiple unexpected issues with coaches meaning our girls would have not been able to attend today without Robin Hood stepping in. Big thanks from all of us �
I've been taking my daughter and neice for a month or so now after being at another club ( was a nice club just not alot of gym equipment ) .. they absolutely love it there is no pressure (my daughter has high anxiety ) just fun and lots of giggles and the staff are really down to earth too ... on a Friday they are constantly asking If it's time for gymnastics yet ... i love the fact that its a drop in session pay as you go as my daughter can have a panic attack at any time stopping her going .. and the fact i can sit and watch them and she can see im there ..personally i think its good value for money I really recommend it x
I can highly recommend this club. My daughter has been going for about a year now and loves it. She tried the holiday club for the first time yesterday and had a super time. I will definitely be booking her in over the Summer holidays.
Both of my girls love Robin Hood we go pre school which is great for the little ones and the gymnastics and the dance squad is amazing for my eldest and the holiday clubs through the half terms are fun and I would recommend to anybody lovely coaches and nice seating areas for parents :-)
After the expansion this gym will be better than it was before! I had the opportunity to work with this caring staff for two weeks in November.
After an amazing evening at the Hydro Glasgow last night watching the GB women's gymnastics team make History by winning the Bronze medal at the World Championships, huge congratulations must go to Claire Starkey who has been the long term personal coach to Becki and Ellie Downie and lead them to this amazing success!
A great gymnastics club however I was slightly disappointed when due to a knee injury (that happened at the club) my daughter couldn't attend her usual Saturday afternoon session one week and she wasn't allowed to carry it over to another week. I think there should be some flexibility in circumstances like these.
My daughter went here for a few months she really enjoyed but I found the staff very rude especially on the front desk really put me off coming.
Would not recommend for boys.
Travelled an hour for a private gymnastics lesson here to be told no-one can do it because they forgot.
