Wonderful Spa experience, the staff are friendly, the pool is always clean, the jacuzzi nice and warm, great sauna and steam, beautiful lighting. Every time I walk in I feel instantly relaxed. By far the best in the area.

Romans is probably the best gym and spa that I’ve never been to. I believe that the showers would be the most invigorating and clean. I believe that the swimming pool would be amazing in the newly refurbished pool area which is Roman villa styled. I believe that the staff are the most helpful and welcoming staff I’ve never met. I believe that I should get the chance to prove all of this by winning the free 3-months membership competition so that I could come back and actually write this review for real afterwards.

Lovely spa. Friendly staff! Love clubersize on Wednesday night! Wish they did it more often! If you haven't gone, go! The only negative is despite having membership it is still an extra £3.50 a class. Price should really be alot lower or included in membership.

I have recently started the yoga class on Wednesdays at Romans and after have relaxed in the spa ...I have thoroughly enjoyed it ...never done yoga before wanted to try it and it has been great ...everyone friendly and welcoming

I have been a member for 4 years now and enjoy my time spent here! Staff are always very friendly, good size pool and relaxing spa area! Also a good child friendly pool, my 4 year old son loves it here! Great gym I just need to use it more often

I absolutely love going to Romans and it is so nice to go for a lovely swim sauna steam and jacuzzi after a busy day at work doesn't matter what time of day you go staff are always pleasant and helpful I don't use the gym but I am sure that is fantastic too keep up the good work Romans team

Fantastic spa weekend with my mum as a well deserved treat for us both, giving us time to catch up with each other. Girls in the spa are so lovely and do a brilliant job, making you feel so pampered. Hotel food is amazing, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will be back again.

Facilities look a bit tired, but always feel welcome by the staff x

Really enjoyed myself! Looked after well by staff there. Only down fall is that had to walk through car park and passed a wedding reception outside and through a bar with people having business meetings in our robes with wet hair and no make up.. Would of been nice to have lunch in the lounge we had our drinks. But we all had a fab day! :)

Nice little pool and jacuzzi, staff weren't particularly friendly or informative when we got to reception we where just handed a towel and key!! And just a tip...... don't wear your best swim wear in the jacuzzi it will change colour!!!!!

My Husband and I have had a wonderful break. I would have given 5 stars only the steam room was not working, the Sauna was not hot (not working properly) and the relaxation jets in the pool were not working. (So Spa area a bit of a let down)

Food was excellent! Room was very large and very clean we couldn't fault that at all. WE would go back though!

Had a lovely time with three other friends rooms were brilliant and spacious reception staff very welcoming and friendly food delicious breakfast excellent. I have never ben anywhere they have offered a choice of poached scrambled or fried in a buffet breakfast bar. All hot and freshly cooked. The massage which was booked in advance ! was really good only drawback was it was not long enough will book an hour next time ! � all in all a real treat will be back for a second helping.

Had a lovely spa day with my mother in law. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. My massage was one of the best I've had. Only thing that could be improved was the lunch which was very nice but didn't realise the choice would just be a sandwich or salad.

We went to the spa yesterday was disappointed we couldn't get a message and it was only 12pm!! then when we disided to go into the spa I was disappointed that some people had robes and all they gave us was a towel when asked if there was anymore was told No! So I found it unfair that you have not got enough for everyone...on a plus side love the new look in the hotel.. room was lovely and the food was perfect apart from our dry chips :(

Awful customer service, absolute shambles when it comes to organisation. Made to feel so embarrassed in front of other customers because of a mistake they had made with no apologies when they realised they were in the wrong. General cleaness is below standard. The list is is endless. Would not recommend to anyone. Will be ringing to speak to the management to make a formal complaint
