super food ! Beautiful place ,and friendly professional staff .Bar manager went out of his way and showed us around this lovely place .will defiantly be returning 😄😄

User

What an amazing place, we went for afternoon tea and a stroll around the grounds and had a great time.

Good food, good drink, great atmosphere and most of all the staff were fantastic with our 18 month old boy.

We did worry a bit about taking him (he can be loud and messy) but he spent most of his time chasing, high fiving and laughing with all the staff.

Thanks for a lovely afternoon!!

User

What a wonderful stay at Rushton Hall. The most helpful staff we have encountered at a hotel. Very child friendly!

User

We had the most amazing time, dinner was stunning and our friends who joined us loved the experience. The spa is one of the nicest we have been to, with an indoor and outdoor hot tub. We will definately be visiting again.

User

We had an amazing stay from the wow factor as you drive towards the hall, the staff so helpful and friendly, the food was just exsquisite. Our room was lovely and spacious lovely view comfy bed. Breakfast also fabulous it was a lovely experience i would definately love to repeat. The Hall itself is incredible so much history loved it. We made use of the lovely spa however felt the staff there weren"t up to the same standard as hotel. We waited ages for a towels and locker keys and were just ignored until i actually pulled a member of staff who'd walked by us twice. The other was on the phone but at no time did she even acknowledge we were even there. That was a bit dissapointing !!

User

We had afternoon tea with bubbly

Nice sandwiches and scones

Possibly too many cakes - more sandwiches possibly

Very pleasant people

Great service

Wonderful building

Well worth visiting

User

We attended for my cousins’ daughters wedding and it was perfect from the minute we arrived. The staff were impeccable and we really felt like royalty. The bar tenders, the waiters and waitresses during the dinner were so well presented, well done everyone. I was really pleased to be staying in the oldest part of the hotel but was disappointed that I didn’t see any spooks!!!! The buildings are remarkably well-maintained and the courtyard is beautiful - even though it was built after Henry VIII, I think he would have been happy to call it home!! Well done everyone! Thanks for making us have beautiful memories and maybe one day we’ll return. Anyone looking to book a wedding here, do it!! Xxx

User

This fantastic hotel have a wonderful concept for breakfast ,

The lady who served us was absolutely lovely. Beautiful building and grounds, enjoyable afternoon drinking coffee in front of the open fire xx

So, on Tuesday 13th Feb, my partner brought me here for a two night stay as a surprise for Valentines!

I cried when I set my eyes on Rushton Hall, that was just the beginning.

Geoffrey helped us to bring our bags in and showed us to our room, whilst giving us historical information. (Very lovely man).

The whole building is utterly beautiful, romantic and out of this world.

The room ‘Hollyhock’ was amazing, so spacious, beautifully furnished and had everything available. (Room was a little cold, ask for extra heater).

The food really lived up to the expectations and beyond. I have never eaten food so delicious.

If you stay here, be sure to attend the evening meal, you are treated as royalty and the staff are so friendly.

Make sure to visit the spa and please do have a full body massage, it was amazing. The ladies in there are very friendly, make you feel comfortable and are very good at massages.

If you are looking for a relaxing/romantic weekend away that is worth the price and has everything available, Rushton Hall is the place to go.

User

Our Christmas Party was brilliant, excellent food and the swing singer brill whilst we were eating! Room was great and the hotel is stunning!

My partner and I just spend one night at Rushton Hall and we could not fault it. The grounds, room, food, service from all staff and the spa were all wonderful. Such a beautiful county getaway in beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

User

My girlfriend and I went to the bonfire gala diner this weekend and stayed the night. Lovely weekend, we booked spa treatments for Saturday afternoon as we always do.

Room was lovely, roll top bath, huge shower, lovely view over the courtyard and front grounds.

Fireworks were very good, staff friendly and helpful as always.

This was our 5th time and as with the other 4 times everything was done just so well.

We will be back :)

User

My friend and I went to Rushton Hall yesterday and had afternoon tea. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The sandwiches, cakes and tea were fantastic. The servers were very polite and nothing was to much trouble for them. After having our afternoon tea we had a stroll around the grounds and they are beautiful. Would recommend to others and would visit again.

User

User

Had an amazing overnight stay with my husband this weekend as a surprise birthday treat. The food tasted amazing, all of the staff members were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The spa was great, we spent a few hours relaxing in there on our day of arrival before going for dinner. I also had the opportunity to have a treatment in the spa which was excellent. The hall is also set in beautiful grounds. Perfect place to stay with wonderful facilities. We hope to return in the future xx

User

Had a lovely afternoon tea with my daughter .staff very pleasant and attentive .

User

First visit to Rushton Hall Stables Spa. Have been to a number of Spa's and comparing the experiences this was an excellent experience and good value for money.

The setting is fantastic.

3 of us went to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday and all 3 of us enjoyed our experience. Each if us had different expectations and all expectations were met or exceeded.

Thanks from me to Jess and to Crystal who gave 3 treatments to one of my daughter's. All 3 of us loved our day and plan to visit again.

User

Excellent service and paid full attention to our party’s requirements with a disabled member . Very friendly and attentive . Lunch was ezcleent my partner had the beef . I had duck breast both cooked and presented well. First time visit , we will return . Thanks.

User

Beautiful surroundings for a perfect afternoon tea with my friends today. Stunning dining area, extremely polite and courteous staff. Would recommend, thoroughly enjoyable.

User

Afternoon tea served in the huge beautiful lounge, roaring fire! Wonderful service from staff who are obviously passionate about their jobs. Not hurried, fabulous range of teas & exquisite range of cakes & sandwiches, scones warmed & all presented beautifully. Fourth visit never anything but excellent.

User

4 years after my husband and I came here to celebrate our engagement, we returned last night for the New Year gala. A very special venue with fond memories for me. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

User

Went for afternoon tea. It was lovely, just think for the price I paid the sandwiches could be made with homemade bread. They were very happy for us to bring a 3 year kid with us.

User

We were treated by our friends to a night in this splendid place. The room was beautiful. Mostly very friendly and welcoming staff. We fluked the weather and felt like we were in the south of France, it was just amazing. We had the fine dining experience, which I thoroughly recommend. Breakfast in bed was well worth the extra fiver.

Negatives? Manager needs to educate some of the staff on customer approach. Some youthful inexperience and a spa waitress who was far too pushy took the edge off the joy. I did giggle when chilled out, waiting for my massage in spa reception. One of the staff was typing at about a billion words a minute and the sound of her false nails clicking on the keyboard made me want to scream. Invest in a quieter keyboard or better nails lol.

In summary, the place was amazing and nearly all the staff were too. For the best possible experience, make sure you visit with Theresa and Richard Meredith. Top tip!

User

This was a present from a friend and what a lovely treat it was We had a great room with a view over the lake In the evening we had a delicious meal served by attentive professional staff and a lovely breakfast in the morning Thank you to all the staff who looked after us

User

Lovely time Swimming, Steaming, catching up on Chat and Coffee with my Close Friend yesterday , Clean comfortable stylish Spa area , Authentic Country Pile ambience in attractive Gardens , good Offer price too.

Only problem I would point out - Disabled persons the seriously overweight or Elderly Infirm would struggle , the Steps into the Pool and Jacuzzi are not easy to step up or down

The Ladder is steep and feels flimsy !

Enjoyed our Day very much, Staff were friendly too ,

User

Amazing place, great food and staff and a beautiful location. Spa treatments were excellent, no tea served to table at breakfast was my only complaint for such a classy hotel, other than the fire alarm going off at 2 in the morning!

User

got a voucher for my birthday for afternoon tea. nice welcome by very polite young man to main hall where we dined. staff very friendly - just a shame they didn't know what a pescatarian was!? (advised prior to arrival) and was presented with ham sandwich & no smoked salmon!!! nor did they take kindly to me pointing out they got it completely wrong. apart from that - lovely unhurried afternoon & able to take unfinished treats home.

User

Soup was cold , half a bowl, sgould have been carrot and coriander, think it was just cream and coriander, no sugn of a carrot .... £7.50 for warm cream . Was not impressed. Staff were lovely and the atmosphere was really nice so the stars go to the staff

User

Very poor effort today less than 24hours to cancel what would of been my daughters 21st spa day booked for weeks! I appreciate that things can happen beyond our control like no electricity but, then to wait 7/10 days for a refund and no follow up call to look at possibilities.. poor poor

User

My partner and I stayed to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary.

We arrived and in keeping with other luxury establishments we stay at, our bags were not taken and my partner was left carrying them himself. It wasn’t until we got to the lift that any offer was made.

At check in, our dinner reservation was confirmed for 7.15pm and we were asked if we would like the turn down service while we were at dinner. We confirmed this.

Once we had settled into the room, we accessed the spa. While in the outdoor jacuzzi we noticed lots of what we thought were wasps. It was clear that there was a nest, so we immediately vacated the area and reported this to staff. We were surprised to be advised that they were aware, that they were bees and there was an underground bees nest, that they they were unable to remove it. From both a health and safety perspective and also from a customer service perspective information should have been provided during entry to the spa.

We went for dinner at 7.15pm. We were seated, but not offered a drink and given a menu. We asked if we could have the homemade bread while choosing our meals. This was refused. We were informed that everything had to go through on one ticket! This decision was only overturned when a manager heard us making the request again. The waiter; clearly annoyed with us, then came over to argue why he was right and the manager was wrong.

After 10 minutes, we requested drinks again, but we were informed by the same waiter in a most petulant tone that he would take our drinks when we ordered. The same attitude continued for the rest of the meal and we felt most uncomfortable. Rather than relaxing and enjoying our meal, we finished quickly and left. My partner in fact asked if we should leave and eat elsewhere! When we informed the receptionist of our experience In The restaurant , she stated that she knew who this was (he wasn’t wearing a name badge) and that unfortunately this experience isn’t uncommon with this individual.

When we returned to our room after dinner, we had not had a turndown service booked to take place while we were at dinner.

The approach by the General Manager, Mrs Valerie Hazelton is not to engage with any complaint. I had an initial response which was littered with lies. She has refused to speak with me on the phone and many of the staff appear to mirror her approach with a complete lack of care or pride in the service.

This might be a beautiful building, but poor service and poor staff and leadership mean that this Hotel does not offer a quality service! Only stay if you are prepared for disappointment. My first anniversary was spoiled by the staff here.

I recommend you choose Kilworth House or Fawsley Hall if you want a luxury experience. Both of these establishments understand their market and what they need to achieve to meet customer expectations.

User

I went as a birthday treat it was awful something i would never do again. My 4year old grandson was there and when the receptionist called my daughter the evening before to confirm we would be there she said that my grandson would be able to share our sandwiches not a problem just ask for extra. So we did, well obviously by the reaction we were met with this was not the case, the waiter had to speak the manager, the manager then spoke to us, all very embarrassing considering we had been given incorrect information by them.

The waiters were going round topping up tea and coffee but not our table our table was ignored after this.

When we were given the bill we voiced our complaint and the manager said i know what receptionist told you this and he marched off to get her shouting wait there. I mean was he going to drag her to our table and have a face of with my daughter a you said this i said that conversation.

Not once was the complaint dealt with quietly it was in full view of all the other guests.

The manager was also very rude not just to us but his staff as well when my husband went to pay the bill the waiter was busy doing something, the manager said to the waiter " take his money take it now ! " charming i won't be back and would not recommend it either to anyone and we travelled 1 hour to get this place.

I appreciate that things can happen beyond our control like no electricity but, then to wait 7/10 days for a refund and no follow up call to look at possibilities.. poor poor

Hello, I sent some feedback to you on Sunday regarding our recent experience of afternoon tea at Rushton Hall, with a follow up email to the General Manager on Tuesday but have yet to receive a response. I would appreciate you getting in touch.

User

super food !

Check this out . (They bring it to you ,) what grate idea mite catch on

User

The lady who served us was absolutely lovely. Beautiful building and grounds, enjoyable afternoon drinking coffee in front of the open fire xx

User

User

User

Having a midweek stay here at Rushton Hall. Beautiful building and lovely clean room. Staff very attentive. Food is superb both breakfast and evening meal. I had a fabulous relaxing massage with Jess. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends. I'm sure we will be back.
