We went there last week for the first time we had heard lots of good reports so though we would try it, well it was the best fish and chips we have had in a long time the fish was so fresh and white we will definitely be going again

We travelled to this chippy to see what all the ratings were about and I can honestly say they were fantastic. The staff were polite. Service was fantastic. And they went out their way to make sure you were happy. Highly recommended. 10/10.

We don't get in here that often. So when we do it's a gem. Russ and his team have worked hard to get it where it is and a well deserved ward from the telegraph. Well done guys

Regular weekly order standard is always excellent whether it's for one person or for seventy. Always helpful a pleasure to deal with

Just had fish & chips, and it's the best I've had for a long time. Must be the best in Grimsby & surrounding areas. Quality with consistency is the key. Must try for yourselves but trust me, you will go back for more

Just enjoyed the best fish and chips in a very long time. So hot with lovely crispy batter even after travelling to Laceby. Great friendly service too. Will definitely be back again soon. Thank you. �

I lived on the nunsthorpe with my family when i was younger, we always went to russells, then when we moved off (not my choice) whenever we'd come back on the estate, russells was the place everyone went to, i moved back on here in 2007 and i wont go to any other chippy, my kids love it, always ask if we can sit in etc.. Always go back for more :)

Decided tonight to give Russell’s a try as I’d read they had received another award. Absolutely the best fish and chips I’ve tasted in a very long time! Will be going again!

Best fish and chip shop by far. I've been having food from here since it first opened way back and it always provides great quality and the staff and the owner are very friendly. Always get a good conversation aswell as great food

Best chippy in the area. No wonder it won best chippy 2017 and I'm sure it will win this year too!!!! Best gravy and fish by far. Staff are friendly too xx
