lovely quiet campsite with some lovely walks, really appreciated the dog wash too.

large pitches with grey water drain and fresh water at each one, will definitely be back

User

We stayed in one of the Lodges named Sycamore. It was beautiful, so well equipped with absolutely everything we could want whilst staying away from home. The lodge is warm, exceptionally well furnished and scrupulously clean. Outside in our own private garden area we also had a bubbling hot tub which we all enjoyed as a family followed by a sauna in our own sauna pod also in the garden. We had such a relaxing break, next time we will have to visit the onsite swimming pool too. So much to do, can't recommend it enough.

User

We love this site have been coming here for eight years now and have seen the site develop. Having full service pitches makes it so easy to set up in no time at all. The new shower block on the adult side is really nice. Take a walk into the village of greetham and there is a village shop and two pubs. We prefer to dine at the wheatsheaf excellent food and a very popular pub. If you want an evening meal here you will need to book.

User

Stayed here this year and last year for 5 nights each while attending Burghley horse trials and will be booking again for next year. Helpful staff, easy secure access to the site. Good tent pitches and very clean and tidy site. Toilets and washing facilities always kept clean and well maintained. Great recommendations for local pubs/restaurants a short walk from the site.

User

Really nice site. Large pitches with water and waste . Spotless toilet block and really nice wardens. We were on the adult only site.

User

On our way home to Ireland after spending 8nights here , superb site with first class facilities. We where visiting daughter, but it was a great spot to tour around the area and different villages and towns. Everything on site you would need, own tap hook up for water and all had their own drain for waste water,

plus small Cafe serving food although we did not get to savour the food as we where always in the go. Looking forward to returning at Easter

User

Love it here, perfect for a family break. Play Park is well maintained, pool is great and can be hired privately for your group. Really secure for children as you need a pass to get in and out. A little gem of a cafe serves a really tasty great value breakfast. We will be back!

User

Just stayed over for the weekend to give our trailer tent a run out before we go for a week in August. Absolutely love this place, will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a family friendly camp site.

User

Have stayed here twice, back in January and leaving today after a couple of nights for my boyfriends bday. Stayed in ash lodge both times, has everything you need and staff even were kind enough to put balloons and banners up in the lodge and a lovely bottle of prosecco for our arrival! Will definitely be back.

User

Fantastic site, lovely big pitches and very sheltered. The showers were one of the best we have ever used - lovely and warm with heated floor was amazing for Autumn/Winter camping- village pubs just 5 min walk away too. Looking forward to going back again

User

Don't be put off when you drive up to it she you get through the gate it is fab .

The shower blocks are the best we have ever seen really they are better than a hotel and they have underfloor heating in the shower too spotlessly clean , and they a swimming pool we stayed for 3 days January 2017 10 from me

User

Another splendid break here!

There is a long road down to the site but guess what, makes it more private!

We have now been 6 times in the last 3 years and its our number one spot.

The site is really secure as all entrances are key card only, the dog walk is quite long compared to most sites and the play area is centrally located so we can all keep an eye on our kids..

Good effort guys and we are already planning our next visit.

User

very short stay...trial run with the kids for their first time camping. beautiful place so clean and tidy and the shower and toilet facilities spot on...even a bath in the family bathroom great for the kids. staff all extremely friendly and kind. really helpful too! only two little niggles.... kids games room?!?! paying for table top football ?!?! and very outdated not really a kids games room tbh. desperatley needs updating and some activities being put in there. Aside from that fantastic time!!! kids loved camping and want to do it again! so mission accomplished!!

User

We arrived on Tuesday before Easter, fantastic site and facilities, how ever our pitch 45 was already muddy, when it didn’t stop raining our pitch just became a mud bath ! When Easter arrived the site was full then problems really started, no electricity! It kept going off then come back on again , the problem was that no one gave us an apology or an explanation of what was going wrong! Then the final straw was that on Sunday we lost water supply! Again no apologies or explanations, the reason they gave me was that someone left their tap on ! So we packed up and came home early ! What a disappointment! We have been before and have had a good time, we will never go again at a peak time , they just can’t cope !

User

Great site, set in beautiful countryside with Greetham village only 5 minute walk. Very clean, best shower block I have used on a campsite, underfloor heating.

We arrived at 5.30 and forgot to sort out WiFi which you have to pay for. By the time I realised the office was shut.🙁

Great shame as I would have posted more pictures on Facebook if I had Wifi.

Might be nice to include it with the booking fee 😁.

They also have a fab heated indoor pool. Again you have to book. Its only open until 6.00pm so no good for us as late arrivals and it was blocked out on Saturday morning for lessons so we did not get to try it 🙁. It would be lovely if the pool was open a little later.

Having said that we will be back.

User

A steep leaning curve as we'd decided to throw ourselves in at the deep end by hiring a 6-berth motor home and placing ourselves at the mercy of our friends to choose a caravan park. We needn't have worried as we found our time away most enjoyable, warm and friendly staff ready to help and always available to make us feel welcome. Thank you.

User

Having been return visitors numerous times over the last three years and having recommended the site to dozens of people however after our last visit in February 18 we were more than disappointed the approach to the reception, the area around the reception and the general roadways around the site are at best poor to the pointed on reflection we should have gone equipped with Wellington boots just to check in, having been one of our favourite sites however until the multimillionaire owners spend a fraction of the sites income on the infrastructure we won’t be returning. You spend hours cleaning your car and Caravan drive down 40 Miles from Sheffield arrive on site with a clean car & Caravan check in get back in the car with sludgy feet then after the pot holed entrance drive around a further pot holed site to get to your “adults only” waterlogged pitch then spend the time Your there wiping crap of your Footwear before you dare enter Your Caravan , A Great site in need of investment and not through the lack of funds

User

Currently sited on a fully serviced pitch....unable to use said services due to their position. They are central to 2 pitches which means if you're on the left of the services & your water/waste is to the offside you'll need about 20-25m of hose & 15-20m of waste pipe! Entry to site is down a long pot holed lane - which in fairness looks as if it is being sorted (had to negotiate dump truck & bucket truck on arrival). Very few supplies kept in the shop. Staff on arrival lovely, less can be said for those my husband encountered the following morning. Sited on family side & it would seem best toilet/shower facilities are on adult only side. We would probably return because we love the area & we are now aware of facilities. It is a short walk to the local village for a drink in the evening or a bite to eat.

User

Potentially a fab site and we have been to fair few! But.... exceptionally wet Easter weekend, out of control of site i know, but we had watched weather and went fully prepared to our club meet. Pitch was perfect. Then... electric went off... still all ok, no one to blame, it was being sorted.... but no... all weekend on, off, on, off... freezing and not good that no one from site seemed to care, not one word from them. Then on Sunday no showers! Problems occur i know but no empathy and no caring from site. Will never return as i begrudge handing money over to that attitude. They are quick to charge... ie. Wifi, swimming pool etc... and don't mind paying for what you get.... thank fully we were with great people.
