It’s been a while, but we have been busy!!
This weekend we are hosting the RYA Sailability Multiclass Regatta.
A whole array of boats have filled the Club, including my favourite, the 2.4.
... The Sailing School is super busy and looking super slick! Lots af smiles all round.
All topped off with a double caramel Magnum. This could become a running theme!

Team Rutland are at it again!
15th and 18th at the Nationals, now for the Europeans.
While Nic has been resting, Matt has spent the last two days trying to make the Rocket ship work on the bumpy stuff (quite a few bruises to show for it).
... 4 races planned for each day, hope our legs can keep up! Wish us luck!

This Sunday afternoon is the third Try a Firefly session.

The quiet before the storm...
How fast a year passes! It feels like yesterday we were welcoming the competitors to the 2017 the Eric Twiname.
More Toppers than I can count and a strong contingent of 4.7’s on site already.
... The RYA have shipped in huge water butts to help keep the sailors hydrated. This gives you an idea to the scale of this event!
It would not be possible without the huge support from our membership, a massive thanks in advance!

Great sailing club in an excellent location

Great club, on a big stretch of fresh water, Rutland is a truly beautiful place, and a great way to see it is from the water. The sailing club is the place for that great facility, balcony with a perfect view of the water. If you have never tried sailing try it here.
