Food was yummy and good servic2 and plots member of staff

Its so open no cramped arears, I'm able to get around with my husband (wheelchair user). Love my fruit and veg from here. Everyone is friendly and helpful and I always have to have a coffee.

Service in the cafe has gone downhill in recent weeks. Two weeks running an item has been left off the order after waiting 40 mins to be served. Seem to be understaffed and some don't appear to be able to cope.

As always very pricey, only went to get a DVD ended up coming out with two! Queues never change with this place one staff to every 20-30 customers in the store so by the time you reach checkouts self serve rammed main banks hardly any staff!

I swear someone in this store is monitoring my shopping and has it in for me. It seems every time I'm in here a staple item on the Thomas Docherty shopping list has been removed from the shelves of Sainsbury's. In recent months (to name a few) I've seen chicken and sweetcorn rice, the wholemeal deli rolls, tikka masala from the "Good for You" range and the microwaveable prawn and chorizo paella all permanently disappear. It's not on. Get it sorted Sainsbury's. For one of your larger stores the selection here is terrible.



Additionally wtf is going on with the bananas? They're either pure green or rotten. Surely they can go on sale a bit closer to optimum taste. Didn't think I'd need to plan ahead and mark on the calendar which days I need to be buying my bananas. Surely storing the green ones an extra couple of days would be better for the customer.

I returned an item of clothing to Sainsburys (which I did say I thought was sub standard goods at the time) to find that if I wanted the money back I could ONLY HAVE 75% returned to me as I didn't have a receipt. The item had the original tags and labels, and was in its original state. I can't sale resalable as I thought the item was substandard. Is this legal?

I did look around the store and eventually exchanged for other goods (which I suppose is what Sainsburys are steering towards). This is further compounded as the exchanged items have been found to be unsuitable and this weekend I will return them They wouldn't even give me a credit note...I have never heard of this before....

Feeling cheated!!!

I asked for a credit note and was told NO. I then asked to spend the cash on food to be told NO.



At this stage this is not a complaint, however should I not receive a satisfactory outcome I will certainly be escalating my concern.

Went for lunch yesterday. Ordered turkey baguette & chips. Was told 20 minutes wait for food, then changed to 30 minutes as I paid. Waited for at least 45 minutes before it turned up. Then I noticed that the”sausages” that is adverted turned out to be a single sausage cut in half, that looked like it had been standing for as long as I’d been waiting and all dried up!! Absolute crap! Won’t be going again!

Went for Sunday Breakfast, ordered taken at 1110hrs and received my tea straight away !!! However the food arrived at 1156hrs... 45mins !!! I’d of been quicker and cheaper to actually buy the ingredients and drive home and cook it !! Not even an apology for the delay !! Won’t be going there to eat again !!

We went for food, the staff servicing didn’t speak or acknowledge we were even there.

When the food did arrive the eggs were not cooked. They were snt back, but when the food arrived back all they had done is turn the egg over.

Would not recommend using the cafe there.

The other part of the store was fine.

I have just received my grocery home delivery and yet again I have recieved so many substitutions and short shelf life items. In fact I have had to send 12 items back with the driver as they were either out of date today or tomorrow! It's a good job I quickly checked while the driver was refunding other items otherwise I would have been left with inedible food......again! I order a lot of organic produce from Sainsbury's as they have a good selection but when it comes to delivery they try and send non organic and cheap horrible food. For example today I wanted 5 loaves of 400g organic wholemeal bread but they sent me 5 x 800g cheap horrible Sainsbury's own brown bread! It's not good enough Sainsbury's, don't advertise all this organic produce if you don't have it in stock!
