We were at Sainsbury's helping with bag packing to raise funds for our children's gymnastics club today. The staff were so helpful and cheerful. Special thanks to Amy who gave my shy daughter lots of encouragement and even let her help scan some items! We had a great time and hopefully raised lots of money for much needed equipment!

Popped into the cafe on Boxing Day. 2 baked pototos an omelette, cottage pie, and 4 hot drinks. Very reasonably prised, friendly fast service, and the food was good. What more can you ask for.

Popped in a couple of weeks ago for some info about cheese for our 10th wedding anniversary party and Simon was super helpful, gave us loads of options and info to ponder, nothing was to much trouble. Went back today hoping he would be in but it's his day off but cat stepped in and again was incredibly accommodating and helpful to the point that we placed our order rather than wait until nearer the time. Can't praise them enough.

Please tell your colleague Nigel that he made my day with his friendly smile and excellent service. It’s a cold and busy Saturday, it would be easy to be grumpy, but he was lovely and now I’m smiling too.

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and the gentleman that served me at the checkout went out of his way to offer help and wished me good luck for the next few weeks and spoke to my grumpy one year old who hates shopping made it a lot easier thanks again x

I always receive excellent service at this store, The staff are all friendly and helpful one of my hates (which is why I don't shop at Aldi etc) The checkout staff wait for you to unload your trolley, ask if you require help packing, and wait for you to pack the other end so you don't feel rushed and your food dose not get squashed. I have visited today, and promised my daughter a meal in the café after, unfortunately the café had just finished food orders (early closing as a bank holiday) she had a few tears but one of the cafe staff came over and went back to the kitchen to prepare a dish of pasta for her, how kind, she didn't have to! Huge range of home/clothing and quality food Thanks Sainsbury's....Special thanks to Molly (bakery) Adele (café) and Paul (checkout)

Had a wonderful experience there today - I'm on crutches and the staff members were extremely supportive and helpful, providing me with a motorised scooter and helping me get around where I wanted to go. The member of staff (I can't remember her name - I'm so sorry!) at the changing room upstairs went above and beyond to help me with my queries, and was so lovely. Such a wonderful experience and really helped to give me back the confidence to go out despite the crutches.

Thank you to everyone who helped my Mum and I out today.

Called into the cafe with the kids whilst OH was at a meeting. They were very busy and apologetic about the 20 minute wait for hot food but managed to serve with cheer and goodwill and keep everything moving. I later heard that the dishwasher had broken down. Food was great and they were working hard to keep everything clean.

A huge thank you to the fishmonger on the counter at 6:30pm on Tuesday (2nd May). Despite my complete lack of knowledge of fish and cooking in general he guided me through all the choices, flavours and ways of cooking. The upsell of marinades didn't work this time but it was done with such grace I was extremely impressed. My employer also has a stand here once a month and the staff are great at looking after us. Never had any problems here and love being a regular :-)

I love the store & layout is very good .. But the cafe is a other question went in for Sunday brunch was very slow & the place wasn't busy , cheese burger chips & coleslaw wouldn't have filled a 6 year old never mind my 45 yr partner the seeded roll was as big as a small roll out a 6 pack .. my jacket potato was quite hard the coffee was ok though .. but won't be eating there again I can't say it was value for money cos it deffo wasent x

Twice in one week I went here for a game for my son and twice there were boxes on the shelf and twice they had none in stock. The first time the lady who went to get the game blamed the media department. The second time the media department blamed the till staff saying that when they receive the game they put the box back on the shelf. The first time I was refunded my money the second they offered to 'shut me up' from complaining by giving me at £34.99 gift card when the game is actually only £29.99. I don't believe they sold 4 of that particular game in less than a week. The first lady said she would sort it, the second lady said they would have to have a training day to teach the staff not to put the empty cases back on the shelf...really their staff need telling not to do this?? On top of that the young blonde lass who works behind the customer services counter stood their the whole time with a stupid smirk on her face. Maybe she needs training in customer services as well. Very disappointed with these members on staff and their way of working. But nice to know they give free things away if you complain just to make you stop complaining! Brilliant!

Idiots at Sainsbury’s Lincoln.

Had an eBay parcel delivered there as they receive them.

Shame the pricks who’s job it I’d to book the parcels in didn’t do his or her job. Got the code, Mrs went to collect the parcel but because some twit at Sainsbury’s couldn’t be bothered to book it in they wouldn’t release it to her because their stupid computer said NO. Didn’t matter that we had the same code on the parcel, addresses and ID matched.

So she’s stood there waiting for over half an hours while her frozen food she’d just bought is melting. I’ve had to come away from work to now go down there to have an argument with them. I’ve wasted 2 hours of my time, wasted fuel getting into lincoln on a Saturday, let customers down. All due to incompetence from Sainsbury’s staff. I’ll be expecting some compensation Sainsbury’s for my loss of 2 hours wages, fuel, time, my Mrs inconvenience and melted frozen goods if you even bother reading your own reviews.

Went for a big breakfast on Sunday 3/11/17

We were not informed of any delay however 50 mins later we had still not received any food. The drinks we had purchased at the time of our order had long gone! When we , (as had numerous other customers), we were told "there's a problem in the kitchens ". The nugget then tried to blame a young till operater who was unsupervised stating that we should have been told of the delay! Really? This has to be the worst cafe in any supermarket. It's always slow but Sunday was by far the worst ever. I'd have ordered more drinks but I didn't want to be late for work on Monday!

Cafe what a joke!! Gets worse every visit and that’s saying something!! Waited in the queue to get served for 25 minutes to be told there was a further 30 minute wait on food!! For a bacon baguette seriously?? We all know you batch cook it off and hot hold it in a bain Marie!! Lass who served us had a shocking attitude talk about service with a smile!! Waited a further 5 minutes+ for 2 lattes which well what can I say we’re Luke warm and tasted rank!! Asked for our so called toasted teacakes to be passed over and got the reply of “ive got milkshakes to make” cause that’s my problem how???

I only gave you a 1 star as I had to to leave the review!! Cafe was so much better when it was downstairs!! Who is even in charge of the joke of a place??

About a month ago I had the misfortune to use the car wash at Tritton Road resulting in the rear wash wiper being ripped off my wifes vehicle. Reported it to the cashier who took photos and contact details and said there would be someone in touch regarding the claim for repair.

Still waiting despite calling back in last week to query progress.

Come on Sainsburys, sort this out.

1 star is actually 1 more than I wanted to give. The way the management treat staff is actually disgraceful, not only do they tell lies but they are so cowardly they leave other staff to pass on information they daren't do personally. Emailing the PA to the CEO only brings a complete load of "No Interest" so don't be fooled by their " Our staff are important to us" propaganda
