Sakura Japanese Restaurant

i visited this restaurant sunday night was a bit worried when i saw the outside it looked very rough but went inside and was absolutly great staff were very friendly food was so nice was great having it cooked in front of us carnt wait to go again

What an awesome experience! The flaming Teppanyaki grill was great fun while the chef cooked tasty food at the table. We will be back again :)

What a pleasant dining experience!

We arrived with friends on a Wednesday evening without a booking, which wasn't a problem at all. The waiter was highly attentive and speedy with the drinks order. Such a wonderful experience watching your meal being cooked at your table by a talented chef, who made the cooking process entertainment in itself!

Will definitely be back.

Went last night with the family, ranging from 7yrs upto 60yrs, all tastes catered for and a fab evening �

The staff were great from the moment we walked in the door. So much food to choose from it took us a while. Everything freshly made with most of it done in front of you which added to the fun. They were happy to miss ingredients out if you have any dislikes/allergies. Nice airy dinning area and you don't feel rushed. Will definitely be going back :)

Plenty of free parking. Greeted welcoming and we advised we had booked via Groupon. He showed us a wine list and what was on offer for our voucher.



We then sat at our shared cooking table and the food & service was Fantastic. We had a soup starter and then our steak and salmon and choice of rice was cooked in front of us and other to perfection. The chef was happy and engaging.



Overall a lovely meal and experience.



We even caught the rice! Although a younger guest wasn't so lucky but it didn't seem to matter all done in fun.



I think would be quite a few ££ paying directly so a treat, perhaps not a regular sadly.

Nice place to relax and enjoy the food!

Incredible food and very polite and quick staff. Would highly recommend for special occasions and company gatherings. Even opened the door early as we where waiting outside. The chef was very talented and we enjoyed watching him make the food from scratch.

Great meal at Sakura last night, all the staff were very friendly, helpful and cooked some amazing food for us (or prepared in the case of Sushi, which is not cooked.) Loved the theater of the flames and food being cooked in front of us. Lots of parking too which helped. We'll definitely go back and would recommend this place for parties too

Fab food definitely worth going 😊 the waiter didn’t really understand English that was my only bug bear!

Enjoyed the food in Sakura especially teppanyaki. The chef cooked very nice meal in front of us and the service was not that bad!! Shamed that we could not get lobster as we wished however the king prawn were nicely cooked!

Been a few times now. Top chefs, great food and very entertaining, what more can you ask for. I need to come back again !!!

Amazing food and liked way the chef cooks the food for you on the hot plate. Hard to work out what it's all about at first but, best advise is to go for the set menu which we didn't but, a couple next to us did and they couldn't eat it all. Will be going back.

Absolutely stunning! The food was great, service 5 star and the vibe was relaxing and exciting while the food was being cooked in front of you! Sushi is fresh and beautifully made. So much attention to detail.

Went last night, never been before was unsure what to expect but if I’m honest thought it was expensive for what we had and could of eaten when we got home, so if you got a big appetite eat first as portions very small.

Food was delicious although MASSIVELY overpriced..the portions were tiny. The service was superb though.

Improve the mouse size portions and I will return.
