I've been going for over 10 years now and hardly let down by the weather but otherwise if your into fast motor sport check it out and be prepared for loud noises if you got kids or have sensitive ears wear ear plugs/defenders

User

I love Santa pod went with my family back in 2014 was absolutely amazing I enjoyed the food I enjoyed the cars I enjoyed everything about it it’s a great track I started watching Santa pod last weekend on here it was fantastic I love the jet cars even though they are loud the cars are great because they go fast and everyone has a great time it’s one of the best places I’ve ever been to love to come back one day and watch the racing because it’s great fun from your fan dan

User

First time I’ve been for years. Went with my dad and 4yr old son. Had a fab day, plenty to see and do. Crews in the pits very friendly especially the bike teams. Deffo go again providing its dry

User

First ever time at Santa pod and I see a lot of people moaning about the weather and muddy fields and shit but we do live in the UK lmao but I loved it the staff where great and tryed their best to keep some idiots under control will definitely be coming back again

User

Adore adore adore. If this sport doesn't fire you up and make you feel alive. You are dead.

Incredible venue, incredibly addictive sport. Just read some other reviews on here. Some folk seem on another planet. Read on you'll see what I mean. Santa pod staff do their upmost to keep the action running. What they can't do is contact God and arrange the weather. A big thanks to all the staff there I know you do your hardest every event. I for one appreciate your efforts. Bring on the euro finals.

User

4 scouses first time visit, firstly the price was excellent value for the weekend, the food and beer prices were ok,the music both live and radio superb, the staff spot on,we bought merchandise so cool, the spectators all very friendly, the grandstand was free, the pits are open,so we got drunk with cool people to awsome music at a cheap venue but bUT BUT the cars n bikes were FOOKING AWSOME .Thanks to all the crews that took time to talk to us, WE ARE COMING BACK

User

I love the pod , hate the camping and set up , for the big shows you either have tarmac stands (great for the cars ) and camping else where , so you are split between the 2 , great when your worldly goods are in a canvas house , or show stands on the grass , which has proved time and time again (like fast show 2018) end up a mud fest , miles from any of the other show stands , near the entrance , my personal opinion is , the grass area behind the main buildings around to the fair ground show be properly sorted , ie hard core with grass over top , and then used for the show/club stands that do not secure a tarmac stand , this keeping all the stands together , fast show was a joke , we paid good money for a club stand to end up with it in a ditch , so much so we moved before we even attempted to fit 15 cars and tents on there , we live in England , it’s 2018 , and no we can’t control the weather , but I have attended the jae at Newark when 10 times as much rain has fell over a 4 day event and not even 1 wheel spin , let alone digging the car out 3 times , and don’t even start me on the 5 hours it took to do ONE run down the track due to traffic and no management

User

Totally disgusted went to book Bug Jam tickets for this year and redeem the adverse weather from last year. 25% Saturday and 100% on the Sunday only to be told that it only applies to day visitors (local people). We support Santa Pod every year (At several events) yet are not worthy of the same discount even though we travel over 200 miles and pay for full camping for a family of four! Day visitors just miss out on some racing - campers have to put up with the flooding, unable to sleep in tents ( sleeping in the car)and to add insult to injury they have put the prices up by 35% this year which is ridiculous. I can only hope we get a 35% improvement on conditions.

User

Personally this year's Fast Show was horrendous. Lots of money wasted on a track that got more use by the tractor's than the cars.

As a car club who was meant to be all together members were dotted every where.

Yes the weather was crap but this should of been taken in to consideration when organising and rearranging this event ie plan B.

This is definitely unacceptable for such a large event, the first thing that needs some serious consideration is the parking areas.

The amount of people that needed to be towed out was just mega (thankfully I wasnt one of them).

Will be seriously considering returning here in the future which is a shame.

User

Paid to get on site. Paid to get signed on to ride. 8 hours later, 3 passes completed, not hugely impressed.

I think you guys could do with a better system for dividing track time between bikes and cars, it seemed to be a case of who was making the most fuss. Maybe alternating 30 mins of each would make more sense that watching for a car/bike to come around a second time.

User

What a waste of money...

We spent most of our time watching tractors going up and down the racetrack.

With the location being in the UK you should expect rain and in which take precautions for rain.

The main attraction is the fast track and in which should be looked after and be ready. But no, they take time and time and more time to get rid of water on the track but guess what!!!!! It started to rain again because they took their time....

Don’t bother coming to fast show. Waste of money and time...

The show (once it started many hours later) was good.

Also if you’re on the grass don’t bother attending with your car if you want to show it off, you just get forgotten about.....

User

The track was extremely quite due to tractors trying to dry it. I understand safety points of this but living in the UK should have some kind of way dealing with this maybe better drainage. Also then took nearly 3 hours to leave the ground due to stewards not helping clear traffic understand these are normal issues but since track has been resurfaced two events have been to have been a wash out maybe should have put a roof and walls and proper ventilation in place over old track instead please sort it out as always loved coming to santa pod but today wasn't a good experience

Hello

Every year I come to usc at santa pod. This year we decided to go on track. The first time we queued to go on track we were told to come back in Half an hour . The second time we were told an hour and half. The third time we actually was in the queue for 1 hr before they told us they ran out of forms . Locked the door and then told to wait another half an hour . I totally understand this but it's 30 degrees . I kindly found to ladies it a vip lounge who worked at santa pod I asked if there was any chance people in the queue could have water . As it's very hot and people have been queuing for over an hour. She said no . This was the same lady who said she would be printing forms she was actually having her dinner . After the ladies came back we still had to wait for the forms to be printed . A 1 hour 40 minute with no water in boiling hot weather and to be lied to I find disgusting. I understand people need a lunch break but I think it needs to be better organised . Somebody else should be able to sign people up whilst another person has their dinner .

User

Fast show. What waste time. Not interested one bit of enthusiast that come along spend good money with you and spends ££££ on there pride and joy to be told to park and show respect that even car boot wouldnt do. Wont be attending venue again, as after year after.year nothing changes. All about there own pocket and Not interested in nothing else postpone it 2 weeks and still fails change. Surely after canceling it more would been done

User

Fast show 18, worst weekend ever, the place and events management were a joke, fields had clearly been waterlogged days if not weeks before causing an absolute mud pit but they deemed it ok for public use. We had to sleep in cars or put tents up on tarmac, The owners seriously need to think about spending money on surrounding areas for camping (drainage etc) before spending it on anything else

User

Came to santapod on Saturday and it was stupidly muddy paid for a weekend ticket of £45 wich is over priced and ended up haven’t to pay another £84 to stay in the premier in for the night it was too boggy you should have cancelled the camping side as me ,my partner and others got stuck just getting onto the field came back on Sunday for the show and ended up parking in a boggy field again so all in all the shit weekend cost me and my partner nearly £200 pounds To see no cars going down the track non of your staff helped me park up on Sunday and no body helped me get my car out of the mud not coming back ever

I've been going for over 10 years now and hardly let down by the weather but otherwise if your into fast motor sport check it out and be prepared for loud noises if you got kids or have sensitive ears wear ear plugs/defenders
