School House Nursery

Based in the local village of Holmpton, School House Nursery is a fun place for children to play and learn

School House Nursery was established in June 2007 and is situated in the rural settings of Holmpton. School House Nursery is self contained and set in the grounds belonging to the proprietor. As the name suggest the original building was the location of the Headmasters house alongside the old village school, and its original facade still stands. With a large garden and stables housing several horses the children are cared for in idyllic surroundings.

The nursery is registered to take 30 children. The children are in three separate rooms, depending on their age. We have a baby room (0-2), a toddler room (2-3) and a preschool room (3-5). The toddler and preschool rooms both have access to the toilets, to allow the children to develop independence following hygiene routines.

Each room has access to the large garden, and the baby room will be getting its very own little area which will be fenced off from the bigger children.
We also offer the two year funding, and also the preschool funding.

We are open from 8-6 Monday –Friday, except for bank holidays and a week over the Christmas period.

Children are provided with meals and snacks which are all prepared fresh in the nursery kitchen.

We are lucky enough to be able to take the children on outings around the village. through farms and fields to see animals and tractors. And we can exclusively reveal that we have a dinosaur that lives at the end of the lane!
