What a truly amazing experience! (Date of visit: 26/10/2017)

I have been to many scare attractions around the UK and Screamfest is definitely delivers one of the best experiences and value for money.

The set building and theming deserves some special recognition as each maze was stylised very well and allowed for a truly immersive experience.

Every member of staff across the site, from the parking attendants to the staff who delivered the rules were friendly, polite and always eager to help. It is refreshing to visit a park where the staff are knowledgable with customer queries and have great customer service - something that some bigger sites and scare events could learn from here.

The performers in each maze were consistently strong throughout the night and delivered some brilliant scares. The roaming performer deserves special recognition for her strong scares through the night. Every time I stepped out from a maze and heard screams around me, she was always there as the cause of them!

I think a lot of the scare events happening at big theme parks around the world could learn a lot of things from Screamfest.

Keep up the brilliant work & I can’t wait to visit again

We went to screamfest yesterday as a group of 6 and we all had a great time. The actors and actresses put 110% into making our experience at screamfest a scary one and one to remember. We would definitely recommend it, it was such a laugh and a fab overall experience. Thank you, until next time X

Took my friends n nephews here and was so funny. We had a fantastic night. The actors were amazing! And should get lots of praise for what they do and not get moaned about. They have to sit in a dark room all evening or outside in the freezing cold and scare people. They did it fantastically and we all had lots of fun. X

This was the most scared I’ve ever been. Each maze caused true terrifying screams from me. Every senses are pushed to the maximum to create fear and not knowing what’s behind the next corner/door/tunnel makes it scarier.

All 5 mazes are top class. I managed to do 4 of them and had to be pulled out of 1. The fear level on this maze was factor 50. I have to commend the staff for their excellent help on this. Within seconds they calmed me down and within minutes I was being escorted safely out.

Would I go back next year? Definitely I just won’t be doing the last maze.

Second year of coming here! I totally love it! Makes you jump! I love the corn maze, no matter what event is on in there i love it. I liked the backstory on the way too it as well. I do wish that the special fx was a little better - especially in the clown house. And the doctor at love hurts, a big hype for another chainsaw but all in all it does what it says to do and thats to make you jump. Id love to work a night here as an actor! See you next year!

User

Really enjoyed the experience i went with my two brothers and brother in law. Ive got to say i had a great laugh and definately a few scares. Will be booking again next year. Thanks guys from a single mom who doesnt go out a lot

User

Once again we had a brilliant night out, full of scares and jumps! A huge well done to all the actors who put in flawless amounts of effort to stay in character for 4hours +, not an easy task! An excellent set up, well thought out and very well run. Until next year...

User

Loved it yesterday! Actors are all fab, amazing costumes and makeup etc. Only thing is some of the staff in hoodies during the attractions can seem a bit pushy time wise, one actually told an actor off for holding me behind (Just doing his job!) & should just stay a bit more lighthearted, but literally only one or maybe two, everyone/thing else was fab! 👻

I've read several comments on here. Some positive, and some not so positive. I have been a few times, last year with a group of 6 and then this year with a group of 10. I have to say it has been fun both times. A lot of effort goes into it and if you treat it as tongue-in-cheek fun then you'll have a great time. If you're an adult and expect to have the s**t scared out of you then it won't happen and you'll be disappointed. It's just some harmless fun. In my opinion it's well worth it. The actors were great, props were all good, the addition of a bar this year was welcomed, food smells lovely, atmosphere was pleasant.

Also something that deserves a mention..... we went to Scarefest last year at Alton Towers and that was over twice the price, the scare mazes were awful, some of the rides kept breaking down, Thirteen was closed all night which is the ride you would most expect to be open, and it was generally a bit run-down and tired. We complained and got free passes for this year's event but we're not even going to make the effort as it will be a waste of time if last year is anything to judge by.

Give me Screamfest any day over Alton Towers.

I was a bit unsure about going (just cuz im scared of everything!) What you all put on throughout my visit was amazing i loved every second of it- yh i screamed like a baby, ran clinging onto a 17year old and nearly wet myself but it was all worth it! money well spent and i cant wait to return next year.

All the staff there was also very helpful and friendly.

I didn’t expect this to be as well planned and detailed as it was. I have been to universal horror nights 3 or 4 times now in America. This was just as good and possibly better in parts, they lasted long enough to enjoy and most have a pre-maze short show. The actors were great in all mazes. My favourite has to be the Mexican one in the maize field. So well thought through. Queues were quick. Only downside the food refreshments cost way to much, coffee truck was spot on. Will go next year without hesitation. You have done England proud with this years mazes in comparison to universal USA

User

Brilliant evening! Day of the dead in the maze was awesome ... definitely the most jump scares of the evening. Great actors, costumes and makeup. Scenery and rooms were fantastic. Good to have the bar there this year too. Well worth a visit

User

Absolutely loved it! Second year in a row I’ve come this year just got better! All the actors done amazing! Came to see Kirsty Tansley do her business and she smashed it!!!!! Credit too all the team for setting it up too

User

Absolutely love the experience, i've been coming for 4 years and return every year. For me its a highlight of my year, so many laughs and scares all in one night. Always something new to keep it interesting and current, and although very busy the queue's move quickly.

User

We were a group of 16 Friday night at scream fest,

And we all had one of the best nights,

We was very impressed the actors were out standing

And the whole set up was excellent.

And would recommend this event to everyone.

User

We have been going for the last 4years was not as scary as it has been the last few years of going the corn field wasn't as good as it usually is will not be going back for few years I think give it a break for bit

User

It was well planned out the actors were great the queuing was long to start but soon got moving this kind of thing is not my cup of tea. However the people I went with did get scared so job done well done chaps. Only down side of the night was some people smoking in the kue tunnels am a smoker my self but those that smoke in the tunnels were out of order. But well done to all actors they were great

And thanks

User

Not as good as last year. Less actors, a whole section which was basically just strobe lighting. The maze was lit up which defeated the purpose and the queues were soooooo long compared to before. Still a different night out with your mates where your face aches from laughing and a little bit of wee may come out 😂

User

I did enjoy this experience. I think the actors did put a lot of work into this. I didn’t actually find it very scary but I that may just be me. I think I would of been more scared if the actors jumped out from corners or hiding a bit better, I didn’t feel as scared as I could see them as I was walking down the aisles of the maze. Think it was quite pricey for what it was, and the ques were very long but that couldn’t really be helped. Still had a good night overall.
