Shankaroon Foundation is non-governmental, a non-profit organisation that aims to reduce poverty through social developmental efforts as well as by providing humanitarian assistance to those most in need. More specifically in the areas of Health- education- livestock /agriculture, as well as environment protection. It aims to do so by mobilising local resources as well as implementing developmental programmes.

As a developmental organisation; Shankaroon Foundation values transparency in all aspects of operation, we also place value on honest empowerment and believes opportunities (whether they are to do with education, health or any other matter that concerns basic human right) should be created and made equally available.
