Well this has to be the best Fish and chips that I have ever had great fast service. I will be coming back to this place every time I am in Derby.

Traditional fish & chip shop.

Delicious donor & chicken tikka kebabs served on toasted/grilled pitta & naan breads (naan breads are large & can feed 1-2 people).

We don't need fancy packaging, just 1st class fresh food with good hearty portions that will fill up the family & that's exactly what you get here.

Hard working staff with plenty of banter.

There can be a queue but that's for a reason … good grub!

Of course I think we are the best!

The absolute best cod on this planet and i come from glasgow especially as the staff r great and shop is spanking clean and food is a must to try...wow..... cannot wait for my next vist.:-)

Quite simply the best fish and chip shop going! The food is excellent and the staff are as good as they come.

Not only the best fish and chips or even the best fish cakes, pies, kebab meat, sausages etc but without doubt the warmest and friendliest customer service you would find anywhere else. I genuinely wouldn't go to any other chip shop.

I went here for the first time yesterday, Had a small (although it was quite big) cod,chips n peas special, it was the best I've had for years, Friendly staff too, The wife who had fishcake said it was the best fishcake she had ever had..Just wish this chippy was closer..

I eat here quite reagually. I had a bad experience and I let them know I visited today as although I had a bad experience I normally have a great one. To my suprise I was given an apology and given a complementary meal. The service is always amazing there and tonight my food was delicious. Thanks again! 10/10

Never ever had either poor service or food that couldn't be described as 💯%.

Never tasted fresher fish and the chips cooked just as you remember them from your childhood.

The kebabs are also amazing.

Fabulous Quality, crazy huge portions and always the same high standard - will be doing just the same when George's opens as just don't get all the hype about them? - well done folks - the only chippy I have ever bothered to review on Trip Advisor - thanks

Their help and advice they have given me regarding allergies in all their food products etc.

I have one happy little boy who enjoyed his take out Thursday night and I can say all was good .

Nothing was to much trouble they was more than happy to help, finding out all I needed to know regarding my sons life threatening peanut/nut allergy.
