What a fantastic venue.the course is a real test,and the bunkers are so well placed, as I found out to my peril.If ever you visit the area this is a must for all golfers....

Visited yesterday to see some friends who are members here !!! My brother played a round of golf and loved every second ! The Course is in fantastic condition, clear pat on the back to the greens staff ! Our 2 children played a few holes and joined in with Stuart's junior session on the afternoon, playing in the junior Texas scramble ! He was so accommodating for them and they also loved every second ! We had a fab lunch and Maureen behind the bar couldn't of made us feel anymore welcome ! All round we had a fabulous day and will really look forward to coming back soon ! Thanks again, a great place to visit ⛳️⛳️⛳️

The friendliest club I've ever visited. The staff and members were fantastic.

Superb course, although it has to be said very demanding .Greens spot on, very true. All the fairways impressively manicured with cross-hatch patterns.

Alround pleasant staff. I aquatinted myself with heather on more than one occasion. Bit of a tough old bird.

Top drawer heathland course, a definite “bucket list “ contender. Looking forward to playing again soon.

One word will describe this place GORGEOUS

One of the best courses in the Midlands. Even after the terrible distruction of the trees, it's a fabulous course. Great staff & the Chef's not bad, even though he supports West Brom!! Well worth a visit.

Came to play here on the Erewash Valley Golf Clubs Presidents Day, its the first time I've ever played as Sherwood Forest and I really enjoyed it, great natural looking layout with bunkers placed in positions to make you think about what club to take off the tee, the heather is dense, find that and you're looking at big numbers.

Catering was fantastic, the meal after we played was superb (Steak pie, veg and gravy) and the prices in the bar were very reasonable.

All in all a good day.
