I went in without an appointment I just read the reviews and decide to try it ,but they manage somehow to find some space for me. Lauren was great I had a messy hair and in the past they never cut it how I wanted but she done it perfect. Great job and such a lovely service

Been using this hair salon for about 12 years , the last few times I’ve been it hasn’t been as good as it used to be , booked in with my usually stylist then was told I was having someone else which was fine because I have had her in the past , asked for silvery blonde but wanted it a lot brighter than usual , when it was done it didn’t really look much different but it was quite dark in the salon because none of the lights seemed to be working so didn’t really think much of it , when I’ve now looked again at home it’s not a very nice colour at all , it hardly looks any different and you can see a weird greeney looking tint to it ! Not to mention that I was charge £62.95 rather than the normal price of £50-£55 ! So after 12 years I won’t be coming back ! Such a shame but fed up of not being happy with it !

I've now had two negative experiences with Shine. One where I had the wrong stylist do my hair (so my hair was not done with the original person I booked with). And then 2 days ago I went for a colour/cut/style... let's just say with the amount of split ends I've seen today in my hair... it was more of a colour and style (whilst being charged for the whole lot). I have been recommended another salon now so if anyone requires recommendations (who have also had similar experiences to myself) please let me know and I'll be happy to refer! And then I got told to "chill out" when I told my stylist the issue. Great customer service!

Been a customer for well over 10 years! Very disappointed with my colour today! When I asked for blonde I expected blonde highlights instead what I got was a dark colour, looked more caramel in colour...nothing like what I asked for, when I got home the first thing my son said was you've changed from your normal colour! I rang the salon and explained how extremely disappointed I was! Was told to pop back and they would rectify it for me. I went back 2 hours later and yes the colour was better however they didn't even bother to style it the way they did originally, they just blow dried it straight and only after I complained to the young stylist, did she walk away and speak to someone, then come back looking so miserable and quickly run the straighteners through my hair, saying they only agreed to rectifying the colour!!! Let's bare in mind this was their fault and I had a wasted half day in that salon! I left earlier with a finished style and nice curls. I came back and left with straight hair! I had already explained I'm going to a wedding on Saturday! Their customer service is appalling and not for the first time I've experienced this! Suffice to say enough is enough I will go elsewhere in future and more than happy to pay more for a quality colour and cut!
