Being in the Shorinryu Shorinkan is a real blessing, We had visitors to our Dojo from Arizona Sensei Tiffany from San Francisco Sensei Geoff and Sensei Jordan from Seattle , it was a great night of Karate and a little flow drill , After training we had a little look around Nottingham Castle, Robin Hood statue and the court house before going for Dinner , Thank you guys for a lovely meal and we hope you have a great week on your Bunkai course in Surrey .

Saturday class was full of hard work and Karate ! Well some of it , Some of us are still working on getting up fast and getting down faster! See you all in the Dojo

Over the last 2 weeks , We have been working hard on Kihon waza, Yakusokos , Pad work and of course Katas, Monday at Rise Park this week everyone was having fun and improving there techniques and Tuesday at Clifton Village Hall , Little Ninjas 5:30 pm awesome team work this week guys , well done , 6:15 pm Shorinryu karate our 3rd kyus and 2nd kyus are really putting the effort, it’s getting harder I know but giving your all is what Karate is all about , Leadership 7:15 pm Kobudo Nunchucku we had a great class learning Nunchucksu Dai ichi no kata , watch the video so you can practice at home In the Garden! Good morning everyone, As we are approaching Testing in March ! I just wanted to give some food for thought, Karate and Kobudo are not just practice on Saturday, Monday , Tuesday etc it should be a daily routine or try to practice a kata or technique at some point in your week , why , well if you want to be better at karate it takes a lot of time and sacrifice , just remember You can do it if you put your mind into it , I’ve just finished my 6:00am training and I’m ready for classes today see you all in the Dojo 11:00am sharp !

Tuesday 5:30 pm Little Ninjas! We had a great class tonight , Ninjas you guys are a real inspiration after teaching Karate for 25 years , I have found my replacement!
