We were in Nottingham for a stag do. As we were a large group we were originally turned away. The rest of the lads moved on, but the 3 of us liked the look of the bar and were let in.

The bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Let my brother try a few beers before he settled for one which he stuck too for the rest of the night. I enjoyed a bottled Belgium beer vedett which we don't have in grimsby.

We liked it do much, we dropped anchor and stayed for the rest of the evening, while the rest of our group got in a fair old state so we were told, elsewhere.

Very nice place...no problems. ..nice staff.a regular place now on Saturday afternoons

It's a bit awkward when I go in, as I'm pretty sure that one of the gals on the bar fancies me.

But I get that vibe off everyone, every where I go, always.

So nothing new there then.

I love this place! I used to host the open mic night at this venue years ago and I have to say the refurb of this place is great, very clean and tidy venue with a great vibe (especially on a Sunday night for the open mic night) drinks are a good price and the staff very friendly and nice people, highly recommended.

I love the places reminders me old the local that you go in staff so friendly all different beers to try I have tried a few myself � and the landlady well what can I say stunning Nat so helpful open mick night is brill because they isn't always something to do on Sunday night keep posted they are thing on most nights

Easily my favourite bar in Nottingham. Hop House, Budvar, friendly staff, board games, average prices for the area, nice atmosphere, no trouble with security. One thing I'd say is perhaps the music could do with being improved.

We've been a few times previously and it's a nice friendly non pretentious bar. Great for us Fifty somethings who like a few drinks in town but don't want to go where our kids go! Yesterday was marred by the drunk customer doing splits in the bar and harassing other male customers. Mildly funny until his language and comments became increasingly coarse.

He should have been asked to leave a long time before he finally went of his own accord.

When customers are uncomfortable about approaching the bar then it's time to manage a situation IMO.

Having said that it hasn't put us off. Maybe it was just a random Sunday night thing.

Another real ales place with the Craft Ales signage £3.70 a pint for Blue Monkey BG.Sips. at least the bar staff have been trained in how to pull a pint of ale. But your pricing for this ale is taking the piss 😅 there's a lot of compition on the real ales trade in Nottingham. 😆

we went in here last Sunday, 30th April 2017. we were group of 4 couples aged between 52 and 55, so not in the trouble causing age bracket. a nice afternoon was ruined when 1 of the female bar staff came storming over shouting that 1 of the male members our group was drunk and we wouldn't be served anymore, we are all still bemused as to what the hell she had seen. it was our 4th drink of the day so we was just getting started, the inevitable and unnecessary argument ensued, the landlady Natalie came over and went berserk whilst backing up her moronic bar staff, after calming everyone down I invited Natalie to review any cctv footage that would clearly have backed us up. i also gave her my email address. our 8 drinks were confiscated without refund. for the record we went for several more drinks and a meal without any more incidents.
