What's not to love??

Spent loads of time on the beach and the sand was amazingly clear, no rubbish or mess

Skegness Pleasure Beach was brilliant value for money, £16.00 for an all day ride band, no cues and got to go on loads of rides

Kids really enjoyed it

Love Skeg so much so we bought a van to enjoy it in the school holls, as I didn't grow up going to Skeg I'm glad my boys are lucky enough to enjoy this aswell as holidays abroad! Home from home!

Market, fun fairs, skate park, beach, sealife centre, aquarium, embassy theatre, tower cinema, parrot zoo! Just to name a few things to do and it's a bus ride to boston, Louth, ingolmels, burgh let marsh, wainfleet & chapel what more can I say!? Skeg is lovely and there's always something to do or see!

It's helped make some great memories forme and my children!

If you get the chance go enjoy it!!

I've been to many places in the world but should say Skeg-Vagas is like heaven on earth

User

I've always liked this place from being a kid, as soon as I get chance I'm off to live down there with my family, kids love it and I know it's different to being on holiday but I enjoy it there n the Mrs wants to move too

User

I love skegness and ingoldmells we used to have 2 caravans on the grange that we used to holiday in love fantasy island market and the grandchildren like the fair!! There is always plenty to do in both resort's!! Love the beaches as well and the donkeys for the grandchildren!! Would love to live their

User

Good place to holiday, nice places to eat, Lincolnshire imp our favourite, piers good for couple of hours 2 good cafes on there. Good beach, some good free entertainment at night Grosvenor singer on most nights or a bit of karaoke. Loads of slot machines. And chip shops.

User

Expensive to park but great wheelchair facilities in the clock tower car park. Flat enough not to need assistance and good fish and chips at Tony's. Is there a sign that says,'Skegness welcomes the morbidly obese' as you enter? Nice park in the middle of town where you can admire the shell suits and tattoos of the mass visitor. I still love it though avoid the foot long hot dogs in town. Tried it once and only once. Shops a mixture of charity and betting with 'Oscars' on Lumley Road having a good selection of designer gear in many sizes. A good Home a Bargains as well. Also avoid the 'funfair' on the seafront. Total rip off.

User

Enjoy this place in any season good for a nice day out and plenty of arcades and range of things in them!!! Nice beach too

User

We live in Boston and often on a Sunday afternoon go to Skegness for a walk around what ever the weather their is something to do.Free things to do such as visit the lifeboat, the beach, the park, The kids love the arcades and are happy enough putting 2p in still!

Watch your toes, place is full of mobility scooters, wheel chairs, and prams, with nutty drivers/pushers. Good beach, and lots for kid's. Pier is good and most people are very friendly. Can be a bit pricey. Much cleaner than it used to be. But some strange looking people, don't know if there the locals or the visitors!

User

Skegvegas is where we take our dog for a run on the beach then a walk round the town , it's getting better as new places open up on the main road When the suns out it's worth a visit

User

Love this place rides are expensive and parking but brings back so many childhood memories and my kids love it beach is great to

User

Always ok for a sloppy day out with the Scutters . Shouldn't call it too much as possibly retirement time will be out that way. Good Cafes and Fish n Chips. Clean beach and during the week nice and easy to park.

User

The only people who love skeg???.......those who have never been to Cornwall.......

The water looks like sludge and..... The beach is ok.....

I only ever go for an afternoons drive...... I'd hate to spend a week there......

As a kid it was magic...... As an adult it's a shame.....

User

Skegness what can I say? As English resort towns go it's ok for a couple of days. Wouldn't wish to spend a fortnight there but maybe a weekend break. Lots of litter though must say it has improved in recent years. Parking I think is over priced & could do with improving. Some of the clientele leave a bit to be desired. Rather to many drunks around for me. But having said this had an enjoyable afternoon in the town. Place could do with a few more up market restaurants.

User

Skegness has become yet another over commercialised seaside resort with the emphasis on spending your hard earned money, there is nothing wrong with Skegness itself and there is still plenty to do there that doesn't need to cost the earth but unfortunately business is marketed at children and it can be hard for some parents to say no.

User

I do love a visit to skeg there is something for everyone. And the kids love it.

Only bad point the public toilets are discusting

But good day out

User

First visit there and was ok for a few hours/day trip. Beach was ok. Would suggest you eat in a proper restaurant as our food from a fast food hut was not the best. Chips looked like they were double cooked. (cooked and reheated) For us it was a cheap day out. Low cost fuel and cheap spend while there. Ice creams, doughnuts, stick of rocks ect are a bargain buy. So much cheaper than South of the country. Would return even just for a sit on the beach with an ice cream. 🍦

User

Not for me ..... went there to support my partner who was cycling from Leicester to Skegness and the clock tower on the promenade was the finishing point. The public toilets were smelly, Dirty and disgusting. The Marine Boat House bar looked fab from the outside but was filthy inside and again smelt 'it was awful'. Couldn't leave quick enough ... I will not be going back.
