Slimming World Virtual - Birchwood, Lincoln

Wednesday 10am.... what a group..... what a leader!!!! Everyone made so welcome and tips galore and support as we’re all in it together. Come along people and just see how great a healthy eating plan can be when you share your journey with others.

My Husband and I were going to join this group at the beginning of January 2016, but I managed to talk us out of it until late February. I need not have worried and been anxious Tracey was so welcoming and the rest of the Group were so helpful and supportive. What I’ve come to realise is no matter what size or how much you weigh we are all in it for the same reasons, wanting to loose weight. It is a journey for all of us but with nothing but friendliness, help and support. With this Groups help and support we have lost in excess of ten stone and could never have achieved that without it.

Joined today... feeling both optimistic and motivated

It's only my first week and already Tracey has texted me, not sure I'm eating enough but with the help from Tracey she will help and support all the way, lets see what Tuesday brings :) :) xx

I've been a member of our Wednesday 10am group for a few years now. Taking that first step through the doors was the hardest thing I've ever done. I was the heaviest I've ever been (I weighed in at 31 stone) and had started to become reclusive, leaving my husband to do all the school runs/assemblies/sports days etc.

I wasn't really living anymore but all that changed when I met my Slimming World family! From my very first meeting, I was made to feel so welcome and was put at ease.

After a month or so, I got my confidence back and started walking the girls to school and back. After about 6 months, I started volunteering in a charity shop where I had to talk to lots of people!

As I said, it was the hardest thing I've ever done but it was also the best thing I've done :)

I started SlimmingWorld 6 weeks ago now and walked through them doors on my own not knowing it would become my little Wednesday family everyone is so friendly and welcoming and so glad i toke that step and joined thanks everyone at SlimmingWorld w10 ���
