Went to a birthday celebration there. Was a really friendly and impressive venue. Only down side was that there was no loo roll in the ladies from 9.45pm. We left just after 10pm and people were still complaining about it. Other than that I would highly recommend the place. Staff really helpful and friendly too!!!

Went here last night for a cocktail masterclass in celebration of my birthday with some friends. All absolutely loved it! Jake was a great host, going above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves at all times. A fab night overall.

WOW what can i say....... I came to slug on Saturday for a works tonight out and we was in the Luxury NEW cocktail area. it was just amazing great host, beautiful food and on point service definitely worth the money and we will coming back very soon

Us girls had so much fun at the cocktail masterclass last night. Jake was a fantastic host. He was really good. The buffet food was also very tasty. Fantastic atmosphere and great vibes. We will definitely be back for more cocktails and crazy shots.

The new look was great, The food was very very good and the waiter who served us was very polite and did a fantastic job,

The only downside was if the waiter/waitress got the order wrong and a bill had to be re pocessed the loss would be taken out the waiters/waitress wages... now that’s wrong... shame on the company!

So i came from Leeds for a night out. Having a wonderful time and obviously spending all my pocket money at the same time. I put my hand in my pocket and somehow managed to drop a bulk of cash on the floor, over a £100, not realising at all. Gaetano a staff member picked this up and approached me to ask if this was mine, I checked my pocket and was shocked to say it’s mine mate. WOW when you think honest people don’t exist anymore this guy changed my thinking. Thank you so much, i haven’t even brought any bank cards as i don’t trust myself, so my night would have been ruined. Cheers mate and thank you slug and lettuce for employing such nice and respectful staff x

Me and my mate attended the VIP weekend last night, it was a brilliant evening. Drinks brought to my table, and had food sampling. The music was decent too. We went over to the cocktail making area which was outstanding too! The staff were brilliant. The whole evening was amazing! I’d definitely recommend this place!

It’s such a great atmosphere BUT we get put off by how long you wait for drinks due to people asking for cocktails food was lovely all we wanted was a bottle of wine & we waited 15min..not sure how you’d work it out?? Was there for a hen do last night & really really enjoyed it

I have visited 3 x in the past week and a bit. and I’ve been really impressed with the amazing service , atmosphere and I love the new look. I even took my parents out yesterday here for cocktails. Also thanks to the lovely waitress who offered to take a picture of my parents and myself all together that was lovely. The pornstar martinis are unreal too � I really enjoyed the VIP launch night too. Can’t wait to visit again soon.

We went to the Slug & Lettuce with family, it was quiet so we didn’t have to wait, and the staff were friendly.

The food, it was good but 3 people had the steak, on the menu it stated half tomato when the steaks came out there was no tomato. My wife asked the waiter about it, he went and asked, we were told because of the hot weather the tomatoes were not fit to serve. We then asked if there was anything else we could have. We were offered mushrooms, which we happily accepted. My point is, surely the kitchen should have sent a message out saying tomatoes are off and offered something else. One other point at no time were we asked if we needed sauce, mustard or told where to find them.

I will re-iterate that we didn’t find anything wrong with the food but do feel the customer care was lacking. Also it won’t put me off, I will go back again as I do like the pub.

Two of us went for lunch yesterday. Ordered food and drink at the same time but waited for our drinks for fifteen minutes and we could see it on a tray at the end of the bar. The barman wasn't doing anything as it was quiet so I went to ask if we could have our drinks so he brought them over, but surely they can use their imitative. Chilli con carne was lovely and so was the sweet potato fries.

Spent about 3hours there after 2130 on 7th April with my wife .Atmosphere was great lots of people partying .I feel to many of barstaff spent a lot of time making cocktails when customers only wanting Draft beer and spirits had to wait up to 20 minutes to get served. I'd suggest part of the bar should be for cocktails and other part should be for other drinks.

Was lovely service but felt lunch was ruined by having a till point right next to our booth. Pub was empty so felt staff could of used the bar tills. Felt impossed upon and had no privacy. Yried to take a pic of hubby and staff member never moved. Sorry wont be visiting again as staff impossion was to much

Can’t decide what it wants to be. Music is too loud for somewhere to eat, but they’re desperately pushing the food and no bugger is serving drinks at the bar. It’s a pretty poor show when you’re stood for 10 minutes not getting served at a bar mid afternoon.

What a terrible experience and dreadful customer service! We booked in the middle of last week for the burger night (tonight). We arrived with our two children (aged 8 and 9) at 7pm as a treat for them. We ordered our drinks as part of the burger and drinks for £7 to then be told there was only one burger left! Obviously we were all disappointed, the waiter said the delivery had just arrived if we wanted to wait. We decided to do this thinking we were talking about half an hour wait.... after all how long does it take to unload a delivery? We waited an hour and a half! Needless to say the kids were getting tired, fed up and starving! Had we known it would have been such a long wait we would have gone elsewhere! What was meant to be a treat turned into a nightmare! Not once were we offered a complimentary drink, a reduce priced starter while we waited or anything! Really poor customer service!
