Scot is an enthusiastic, passionate and professional Guitar, Bass and Ukulele teacher; a versatile and competent guitarist with over 34 years playing experience. He currently plays and performs in two cover bands performing a whole range of genres from funk to heavy rock. As an RGT registered tutor with a DipLCM(TD) he is able to provide a tried and tested method of tuition based on the RGT’s widely recognised syllabi for Guitar and Bass. Grades can easily be catered for and to date he has a 100% pass rate for any students entered for grades. A qualified Music Educator, obtained through Access to Music, and holds a Certificate to Teach in the Lifelong Sector (Level 4. He also holds other formal qualifications in Coaching, Mentoring, Leadership and Management. Additionally, Scot is also a Music Leader and Arts Award assessor to bronze and silver levels and works in both primary and secondary schools teaching Guitar, Bass and Ukulele. Furthermore, he and his colleague are Live Sound Engineers and are able to provide a live sound service for small /medium sized gigs providing a digital multi channel mixing desk and up to 5K FOH and Monitor PA rig. Scot is a friendly, reassuring and approachable which allows his students and clients to receive a structured and personalised product to suit their needs.
