Everyone loves a wedding in a movie how many have you seen x

with just under 16 weeks till my big day I was beginning to think I'd never find 'the dress' but today I finally said "yes to the dress" I even cried!!!! the ladies here are amazing, I'm a curvy bride but felt so comfortable here, there was no judging and they really listen to what you like/don't like etc. I can't wait to come back to try my dress on again. you lovely ladies have made a worried bride to be sooooo happy. the fact that your actual seamstress is there in the store too is fantastic because you instantly know whether any alterations are doable or not. I really can not praise these ladies enough, nothing was too much trouble xxxxx

Went to your fantastic Wedding dress sale today and managed to get my dream dress for a fraction of the price.



As soon as I walked in (we were first through the door) we knew we were in great hands. I knew which dress I wanted to try on from seeing on your Facebook page.... you found it for me straight away and as soon as I tried the dress on I fell in love with it.



Thank you so much for all your help, advice and guidance... all your staff were truly wonderful. Although you were extremely busy, nothing was too much trouble for you and all your brides-to-be.

The service and advice I received from these ladies were exceptional. Melissa you are a gem, your advice and helpfulness was perfect. Nothing is too much trouble from these girls. I'd didn't feel pressured and I think they would of let me try on the shop if I wanted. Not only did I pick styles but they did too for me to try so I was absolutely sure. Hence why I returned today to purchase my dress!! ÔŅĹ thank you so much ....see you in the new year Xxx

The ladies in the shop are so lovely, welcoming and knowledgeable about their dresses.

My mum and I turned up at the shop yesterday hoping to have a look around, knowing full well it was very unlikely is be able to try any on as we hadn't booked. When we arrived we were made to feel very welcome even though we could see they were busy. We asked if we could have a look around which they were more than happy to let us do and we were even offered to try some on as the trial room was free. They were decorating the room at the time and they clearly had a lot on but they made us feel like we were absolutely no trouble at all.

We were there at the very end of the day so it ended up that all three ladies were in and out helping us and making suggestions. It was a really lovely experience! I would recommend everyone visit them. They would normally ensure you have around an hour and a half with them and they really do listen to the styles you are looking for. The suggestions they made were spot on too!

I didn't end up finding 'the one' yesterday but not all of their dresses were at the shop as they were hosting a sale event the following day. Melissa told me that there were a few dresses there that she thought I would like so we decided to go. There were a lot of brides trying dresses on but I could see that every one of them were getting as much attention as it were possible to give. They all did a great job! I found an absolutely gorgeous dress and am so grateful to all of the ladies for their time, attention and genuine interest.

I look forward to bringing my dress back to you for the alterations discussed today. I know you will make it fit like a glove and I'll feel like a beautiful bride.

The girls were lovely and welcoming and gave good advice. I had some extra touches added to my dress and they were very accommodating and extremely reasonable. The timescale and turnover for this was really quick.

The end result was amazing. My Husband loved it and everyone commented on how beautiful my dress was. I can't thank kate and the girls enough.

The only sad part is that the day went so quick and I won't get to wear it again ÔŅĹ

Love this shop very friendly and helpful staff I bought my oldest daughters dress from Rachel and have just had my other daughters dress altered by Kate...I wouldn't go anywhere else they are so nice and the job they do is wonderful...thankyou ladies....

I recently got married 28/5/17 and the girls in the shop were fantastic. They made me feel a million dollars, from the moment I stepped into the shop being honest with them saying I was potentially getting one made they still offered 100% service and put every style of dress on me, telling me I needed to be sure of I was getting it made.

I fell in love with a dress and Mellissa was fantastic, I was told to sleep on it and have a think about what I wanted. Melissa called me the following week to discuss the dress and I went back to try and it on and new it was the one for me! I went back to shop to try it on several times just because I could and they were always so happy to help me.

They also did all the alterations for my bridesmaids dresses as well and they looked beautiful.

The 2 weeks before my wedding everyone at soar valley brides made sure that the dress fitted perfectly and I had several final fittings!!

I loved that they cared so much about how I would look on my wedding day and took great pride in the service they offered!

All the girls at soar valley brides are very welcoming and friendly and nothing was ever too much!

I just want to start by saying that I cannot recommend Soar Valley Brides highly enough for your bridal needs. Over a year ago I visited to look at dresses for my upcoming wedding (which was in January this year). As I lived in Sileby, I had seen a dress that really caught my eye long before I was engaged, and my mother had seen the same dress on a separate occasion. When it came to choosing a dress, Gill was kind enough to let me try a few dresses on, but when I finally tried the dress I had seen in the window, I knew I had found the perfect dress. Gill and Kate were absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process, they were helpful and understanding, and clearly had plenty of experience in making their clients' bridal dreams come true! All of our wedding guests told me how beautiful and unique my dress was, and it photographed beautifully, too! Massive thanks to Gill and Kate for helping me find my dream dress, and for just being super lovely and fantastic at their jobs!

I haven't got words for how fantastic the women here are, but I'll give it a shot. I wanted a very specific style of dress which they not only managed to provide at a great price, but they revamped and customised it to make something absolutely perfect. If that wasn't enough, they managed to turn around emergency bridesmaid alterations in the week running up to the wedding, saving us both a lot of time and stress! Simply wonderful, I'd recommend them to anyone.

I had my bridesmaid dresses from Soar Valley Brides, Kate altered all of them plus my wedding dress & did such a fantastic job. Not only did each dress fit perfectly after only 1 fitting but we all had a great afternoon in the shop. Kate and Gill both are so helpful & both incredibly lovely ladies. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! I have since had more alterations done with Kate & will continue to do so! X

I came to Soar Valley Brides for my wedding dress alterations and to store my dress before the wedding. I had previously bought my dress from another Bridal store but felt let down by their alterations team whom after making contact never bothered to contact me back, this left me feeling anxious and desperate as my dress required a lot of alterations. I was then highly recommended to Soar Valley Brides by 2 people whom had previously visited. Kate and her mum were amazing, they were very welcoming and friendly despite not taking my custom originally. I felt confident from our first meeting that my dress was in safe and capable hands. My dress was bought off the peg so was not only too big for me but needed quite a few alterations to ensure a good fit. When I tried my dress on, on both the wedding day and the first fitting I was shocked, the dress was beyond perfect and the alterations were undetectable. I would like to sincerely thank Kate and the team for making me look and feel beautiful on the most important day of my life. I would genuinely recommend them to any bride to be.

I called the shop on a last minute panic as my daughter needed her prom dress adjusting.

Super nice and calm over the phone.

This was a Friday evening and although they were fully booked on the Saturday morning, they got us an appointment and opened up early to see my daughter.

I absolutely cannot rate Soar Valley Brides highly enough. From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel at ease and throughout the whole process nothing was too much trouble. I didn't really know the style of dress that I was looking for but Melissa knew exactly what would suit me and I ended up with the very first one that she picked out although I tried lots of others on.

Gill and Kate were amazing through all the fittings and alterations and also did brilliant job with the bridesmaids dresses. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Been here twice now, 2nd time I brought my mums dress with me to see if they could alter it, the ideas they had were amazing and so friendly and helpful. They really make you feel welcome and comfortable ÔŅĹÔŅĹ

Although i didnt find "the one" at this bridal shop, i tried on some dresses and they were all lovely dresses and not crammed in like i found at some bridal shops. After finding "the one" at a charity shop it needed cleaning and some beads stitching back on.

They were happy to help and the quality was fantastic!! My dress looked 100% better (it was an alfred angelo dress) and i was so pleased.

I also bought a head peice from here as i fell in love with one as soon as i seen it. They are all hand made and unique. I had lots of people asking where it was from.

I ended up buying my jewellery and shoes from here too as everything was such good quality, nothing compared.

You can really buy everything you need from this shop and i would recommend it to anyone getting married.

All the ladies were so helpful with helping me find my perfect dress. I returned over a year later after purchasing my dress to have some small alterations done and they did this for me there and then. Whilst in the shop they also helped to guide my mum on the best way to do up the corset back. Cannot recommend these ladies enough! They made dress shopping so easy for me and stress free x
