Oooh I'm so excited to share this link to view the actual animation! Annie Clarke is a 15 year old (or at least she was at the time of writing the poem) living in Londonderry and her poem, "I Am From" is one of four poems chosen out of gazillions of poems written by kids from all over the UK, to be animated and broadcast on Sky Arts. It's a gorgeous poem about Annie's experience of life in Londonderry. Foyle College must be feeling pretty proud right now.

When I became a mum I realised very quickly how much I can learn from my own children. Here’s a little insight into how I take a child’s doodle from a photo of the original line drawing to a PNG file with transparent background, ready for animating.
