Are there any businesses or organisations out there that have any office chairs (in good condition) going spare? Here at the CVS we are a bit short as many of ours are quite old and not in very good nick! If you can help, please get in touch - email info@sdcvs.org.uk or call 01283 219761. Thank you!

Our Foodbank Staff and volunteers would really benefit from a small (shallow) Supermarket Trolley. Moving the food around the building from delivery to storage to collection is taking its toll on their joints!! Imagine doing a weekly family shop 2,3,4,5 + times a day!
If a local supermarket/ shop could donate or lend one we would be over the moon but we realise this may be a big ask.
They cost about £120 pounds so if you wanted to contribute to the cost of us buying one pl...ease drop a donation in to us at SDCVS.
Thank you! We want to look after our Food Bank Team so they can keep helping those that really need our help.

Did you know that 3 million children are at risk of hunger over the summer holidays?
Feeding Derbyshire has teamed up with Feeding Britain to run a crowdfunding campaign from 28 May- 25 June with the aim of raising £50,000 to support holiday food and fun clubs this summer. £10,000 of this target (or the pro rata equivalent) will come to projects in Derbyshire.
For more information about the campaign and how you can support it, visit: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/healthy-hol idays-summer-2019.
