We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking support workers with a passion to make a difference in the lives of others. You will be working with adults, young adults and children with learning disabilities and physical disabilities and mental health issues. This will be agency work which will be great for you to work as and when you like! Various shifts are available for daytime; waking nights and sleep-ins. Long term boo...kings are also available for up to 6 months!!
Experience of working within a supported housing, social care, criminal justice environment is highly desirable.
In addition to a genuine caring nature candidates will be expected to have/ do the following:
Candidates will be subject to Enhanced DBS clearance Good communication and listening skills The ability to build and maintain rapport with adults and children. You will need good knowledge & experience of the various needs that the service users have Flexibility and adaptability A positive, non-judgemental and sensitive approach Assist with activities of daily living, domestic duties and personal care Ensure health and safety of clients and their wellbeing Handling medication Ability to recognise risk and follow safeguarding procedures and reporting where necessary Commitment to implementing anti-discriminatory, diversity and equal opportunities policies.
