About Spotlight Data
At SpotlightData we aim to shine a light on structured and unstructured data across organisations. We develop enterprise ready systems that make sense of data, and provide meaningful insights which allow you to make decisions. The system is split into two components: a modern, user friendly web panel and a scalable pipeline that processes the files.
Methods we use include Natural Language Processing, machine learning, and clustering - to provide insights into files and documents across large document corpuses, social media, and cloud services. The system can scale to millions of files, and is designed to aid search, understanding, and improve decision making.
Our software is used by the Ministry of Defence, and recently we won the Innovate UK SBRI Machine Learning competition. We would like to work with more organisations who need to understand the data they hold, and want to expand the system’s capabilities in new and exciting ways. We are interested in partnering with companies, organisations or startups who have novel ideas we can evolve and incorporate into the system.
Areas of interest include audio, video and document classification algorithms. We are the winners of several awards:
