Kathyanne with Izzy, Eben and Bradley have just arrived with over 200 presents to be given out to families tomorrow along with their Christmas Hampers. Kathyanne’s husband Sean was there too. Huge thanks to them for their amazing efforts ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We had a lovely Christmas party for the children last night, followed by a cosy Christingle service. Susan made this wonderful cake. It was delicious!

Christmas Hamper preparations for Food Bank guests are well in hand. Today as a result of the very generous support of the Waitrose Wollaton store via their Community Matters initiative Cheryl and I picked up 55 chickens from Diane and her colleague. Diane leads the Community Matters work at the store.

Today ... it’s not essential to be over 50, it’s fun for adults, those on their own that will enjoy some friendly company, and those with older children for some ‘me time’. Hope to see you later on around 1pm until 3pm.

Don't forget that the Christmas fair is taking place on Saturday. With plenty of tombola prizes to keep both adults and children entertained. Delicious cakes. A bric a brac stall. Over 20 prizes to be won on the raffle and so much more.... we hope to see you there.

Waitrose just phoned me again - so we were told this morning that they had raised £350 for us during October from the green tokens that shoppers put into the donation tubes as they leave the store.
They just rang me again and through another avenue of their Community Matters program they are awarding us a further £350.
This is nothing short of miraculous!!
