Knighton remembers World War 1
A bring and share lunch followed this mornings service and included speeches and many generous gifts, among which were a pair of wellies and a copy of 'The Country Parson' to prepare Neil for his future rural ministry.
Reverend Neil's final service took place today. It was good to see people from across the benefice, mission partnership and the South Leicester Christian Partnership.
The Bishop is pleased to announce the appointment of The Revd Neil Bullen, Curate in the Benefice of Knighton, as Rector of the Benefice of the Ringstone in Aveland Group in the Diocese of Lincoln.
Neil will be licensed in this role on Tuesday 6 November 2018, 6.30pm at St Andrew’s, Rippingale.

560 in church this morning for Overdale Juniors leavers assembly... a great start to a Friday.
Much work has been carried on the church yard by the council and things are looking much tidier.....the local feline population obviously approves.
Yesterday we held the Leicester High School for Girls leavers' service. Wishing them all every blessing for the future.
