—S&L Masters Golf Day 2019–
TEE OFF TIMES
This event is fast approaching and commitment is high with 44 hackers, slicers and the odd decent golfer in competition for the silver jug. Last year’s champ Fraser Sutherland is first out on the Friday to set the standard for the day.
... Please arrive 20 minutes in advance of your tee off time. Bring some pennies for the raffle.
Thanks to all for supporting this important club fundraiser.

End of season celebrations.......

-Final 1’s game Vs Weekly and Warkton 2’s
WHAT A SEASON!
The final league game of the season is upon us and what a season it has been. The 1’s have done the club proud winning division 5 by what could be 100 points. Superbly led by Kudir Ali there have been some super individual contributions which I’m sure we will celebrate in style at the forthcoming presentation.
... The 2’s too celebrated a superb and most unexpected promotion from Division 7 and will play the highest level of 2nd team cricket that the club has experienced for over a decade next season.
The 3’s had their most successful year with several fantastic victories. Skipper Phil Wilkinson again worked extremely hard to ensure that we were competitive whilst nurturing some of our youngest talent.
Most importantly the club is buzzing with enthusiasm. Much is owed to our ‘unsung heroes’ such as Les Webb, Kris Sayers, Micky Dunn, Phil Chapman, Stevie, Debs and Tony Snr for their work doing the dirty jobs such as managing the bar, scoring, umpiring, improving facilities etc.
Finally as another season comes to a close a huge amount of thanks must go to our Chairman, groundsman, youth manager and chief stakeholder Mark Poucher who, through some tough times, continues to dedicate his time and energy to supporting the enjoyment of others.
What a season - Fines night (pink shirts for the 2’s) and 1st team promotion ‘p*ss up’ this evening. Party hard it is very well earned!

Another cracking win for the 1’s, as they notched up their 16th consecutive win! Bowled Thrapston 2’s out for 102 (Evan Clark 4, Tony Thurman 4 and Dunny 2) before knocking them off for the loss of 4 wickets. Shaun Elliot 45 and Martin Pearce 49. Great win from the Champions!
