Another string to our bow, Dale Barnard and myself popped this house extension hip roof on together with fascia, soffit and guttering in a couple of days.

I’m still working and hope to be for the foreseeable future. An example of a before and after job, sapele stained doors swapped for oak doors, together with new architrave and skirting. Now the oak window board is varnished it has a great sheen. Contact me for a free quote.

One of today’s jobs. Water resistant 22mm MDF sheet cut down on site and bull nose moulding machined to all edges, and then fitted around the bay window. The window board over hangs considerably due to the walls having insulated plasterboard fitted later.

Another busy couple of days fitting two flights of stairs in one property together with Dale Barnard. The stairs were made by Chris Gray of Empson Timber Ltd of Gunness. The customer was extremely pleased with the finished work and timely completion.

Together with Dale Barnard we changed an existing aged flight of stairs for a new flight of solid oak stairs made by Chris Gray of G Empson timber. A complete transformation and huge improvement on the distinguished stairs.

The under floor heating manifold and radiator was covered with a cupboard and vented radiator cover, giving access to the manifold controller, pump and motorised valve.

A flight of open riser stairs fitted with glazed panels to the stairs. The stairs were manufactured by Chris Gray of G Empson & sons of Gunness.

A complete door transformation, the original doors were dark stained glazed doors with brass door handles. The new doors give a very modern look and let the light pour through into the living room.

This is the latest project to be completed by myself and Dale Barnard for Trumax Builders. Oak flooring, kitchen fitting and all internal oak joinery work fitted, very pleased with the finished project

Another large job nearing completion, oak door linings, oak skirting and architraves, ledge brace battern doors in oak hung on traditional tee hinges, and Suffolk latches fitted. In addition approximately 250 square metres of oak flooring fitted. A great job to work on.

Some of the work from the week. Remove an existing flight of stairs and fit a new flight of oak stairs, hand rails and spindles, together with an under stair cupboard. The stair were manufactured by Chris Gray of Empson Joinery.

This is the first time I've used a piece of tree with bark on to make a stair handrail, once it was varnished and the colour came out it now looks awesome. Well pleased.

Started as two blank walls that required two hanging wardrobes and storage areas. The wardrobe doors needed to match the existing oak bedroom door, two of which needed to be cut and altered to accommodate the pitch of the roof. Oak door casings and architraves fitted, together with matching door handles.

Together with Dale Barnard the bar construction has started. The optics were empty before we started but if Karen changes her mind again we may have to open a fresh bottle or two.

This vanity unit was made on site from oak floor boards and oak framing left over from other jobs on the project, quite pleased with the finished item!

A very unusual door opening to get the door to fit. Altered on site and then hung, very pleased with the end result.
