Ahoy matey's ! A lovely day for Pirate Pearl and the big blue monster today at Talkin Tarn. So bring along your mini Long John Silver's in fancy dress and prepare for an evening of sillyness, singing, and pirate mayhem. Gate opens from 4.30pm with the performance starting at 5pm with tickets available on the gate. A BBQ will also be on offer to feed all your hungry shipmates.

Please note that from 3pm on Thursday 9th August there will be restricted access on the tarn water front, in front of the tearoom due an outdoor theatre performance.
If you would like to see Pirate Pearl and the Big Blue Monster, tickets will be available to purchase at the gate.

Well that’s not a bad forecast for tonight’s outdoor theatre with the Pantaloons performance of ‘The importance of Being Earnest’ at Talkin Tarn is it !! So grab your camping chairs, your sunglasses and maybe a bottle of fizz , and come down tonight for a 7pm start. Tickets will be available on the gate, and we will also be hosting a BBQ – so we will have all your needs catered for. Hope to see you there !

We had our wedding reception at the Boat house tea room on Saturday and what absolutely amazing staff and location. Nothing was to much trouble. Communication was fantastic throughout the planning. The food was loved by all. We had the best day and memories we will treasure forever. Heather and the team are wonderful and helped to make the day a massive success.

Magical place to visit.. I have been coming here since I was a small boy and although it has changed a lot in recent years it still remains a very special place.

Lovely performance by The Pantaloons, despite there not being enough sand/too much sand (delete as appropriate)

Fantastic place , great for dogs . Nice coffee shop .

User

Very very disappointed with the new park. Was there on Friday it was extremely windy, the sand is too fine and was blowing into the kids eyes. What was the matter with the bark chippings or more rubber base??? Brought home two very unhappy little boys with sore eyes Will not be rushing back, such a shame a good park ruined
